Why Shimano don't include these with a di2 setup is anyone's guess, but this is a genuine Shimano TL-EW02 tool and it does exactly what you need it to.

Bought this to install the EW-WU111 D-Fly unit on my new Di2 gravel bike to allow me to customise levers through the e tube app, adjust gears, sync with my bike computer etc.It’s a handy little tool for this job, it was easy to disconnect and reconnect the Di2 cables without damaging them. I just can’t understand why it’s as expensive as it is for a tiny plastic tool! Why can’t it be included with the D-Fly unit itself seeing as this is also £70!?

Handy little tool
For just a few pounds, it's well worth having this official tool because it allows you to remove and plug in Shimano Di2 wires wihtout damaging them. Apparently many of the Shimano warrant issues are with Di2 cables that have been damaged whilst adding/removing.....
