Beurer HK 25 Heating pad

This arrived today and i literally ripped the box open to test it out because my back was in agony all day. I have had back issues for 6 years, i have bulging discs and my hips are displaced a little from a skiing accident so i am in pain daily and have been using hot water bottles to help ease my pain. I figured why not just get this and then i won't have to boil a kettle etc and then mess around to get the temperature just right for me. So i plugged it in and set it to the maximum temperature to make it heat up as fast as it could, this took around 15 minutes until i think it reached its maximum temperature. At max settings it was really warm but didn't leave my back all red like it does when i use a hot water bottle. I lay on it for around an hour and it did soothe my back so i am really pleased. My partner then stole it to use on her legs and said it felt really nice and toasty. I can't speak about how long this will last but at the price i paid if i get around a year before it dies on me i will be over the moon. I hope this helps anyone thinking of getting one of these for any aches or pains.

Recently had back surgery and this little heating pad has been so helpful in keeping back muscles warm and in helping to ease surgical pain. It lies completely flat (aside from the very edge where the power cable plugs in) and doesn't make a lump under you when you lean against it or lie on it. It has three settings but I generally leave it on '2' which is the middle setting and this is quite warm enough. It also shuts itself off after about 45 minutes which is really useful if you happen to fall asleep while using it. Was so impressed I bought a second one which is in my chair downstairs!

I bought it for my mother in law. I tried it and was very unhappy because in my opinion its heat is very low (could not warm my feet for about 45-60 min) even when is put in mode 3. But I never tried another heating pad before and my mother in law, who has previous experiences, really likes it. By the way she uses it also just for feet. She has just one complaint - it heats slowly. So I give it 4 stars because of owner's opinion.

Really great. Bought it to heat up my baby's crib, instead of using a hot water bottle. Really good for this purpose. I put it on lowest, 1, and it is good temperature after his last feed and stories. If I have forgotten to put it on before feed, I have zapped it on 3 before story and it has heated on time. Don't understand why some people think it's not fast. Timing out after 90mins is obviously a safety measure too. Would people rather it went on fire?! I have used it a could of times for lower back pain and it has done wonders. Excellent. It also definitely has a standard British plug too.

An amazing heat pad for low back pain, neck pain anywhere you need heat and comfort. You can lie on it in bed and it shuts down after 90 minutes. This feature is not always available on a heat pad so for me it makes it very safe to use. Three heats gives the amount of heat. It means its tailored to your own personal needs. Well worth the money. I have had other heat pads but none gives the desired heat or shuts of after a while. Well worth the money. It can also be taken with you should you spend time away from home.

Very successful christmas present for my brother who has been off his feet for weeks, due to a back problem. This heat pad really helped and made his pain a little more bearable. Good heat settings, automatic and timed cut out and useful washable cover. Would recommend to anybody.

It's a good quality product, comes with a system protection to prevent keep on for a long,is a too safety product but it have a problem with the heat, is not enough heat for a pain.

It works seems well made. Smaller than expected but I should have used a ruler perhaps. Controls easy to use. Heat pad material slightly course when against skin but you get use to it. Heat output hmm yes it gets fairly hot but had expected slightly better verse other items I've used.

Does not work in United States Wrong plug and wrong current

Io odio entrare in un letto gelido e quando ho freddo ci metto un sacco di tempo per addormentarmi. Lo scaldasonno è quindi uno dei miei migliori amici. Mi sono chiesta se il mio bambino non trovasse altrettanto piacevole entrare in un lettino caldo, soprattutto dopo essere stato in braccio a me o al papà. Questo scaldino ha dato la risposta alla domanda: il mio bimbo apprezza e si addormenta molto, molto più velocemente e tranquillamente di prima. Metto lo scaldino, lo lascio il tempo di dargli il latte, tolgo lo scaldino e lo spengo, metto il bambino e mi godo il suo sonno tranquillo (attenzione: _NON_ mettete mai il bebè direttamente sopra il termoforo in nessun caso e a maggior ragione se è acceso). Il termoforo è ben rifinito, con un grosso selettore di calore a 3 livelli. Il livello scelto si illumina, quindi si vede bene anche al buio. Scalda in fretta e anche se venisse usato sul corpo per la terapia del calore non credo che potrebbe essere più caldo di così senza bruciare. La fodera si sfila facilmente per lavarla. Lo scaldino è un po' rigido, più di uno scaldasonno da letto. Un buon prodotto a un prezzo molto ragionevole. Consegna veloce e impeccabile. Lo consiglio.

Compre una almohadilla de 100W en una tienda y a los días la devolví porque calentaba poco, compré otra marca de 100W en otra tienda y también la devolví por el mismo motivo, compré en amazon una ufesa de 60W y evidentemente también la devolví por lo mismo y que calentaba menos aún. No se a cuántos sitios he llegado a ir preguntando porqué no calientan como las de antes. Hay una normativa que ya no puede tener más calor de lo debido, el tema del precio va en la calidad de la funda, cable o marca. Así que visto lo visto me decidí por esta estando en oferta y me costó 20 euros. La puse e hice lo mismo que con las demás, esperé un rato, fui subiendo los niveles de calor hasta el tres y la iba tocando con las manos o poniéndomela en la cara modo probar el calor en zonas más sensibles, el caso es que era igual que las otras. Pero... la dejé puesta y me la puse en los riñones mientras estaba sentada en el ordenador, tenía puesto el pijama y la bata, así que pensé que de poco me iba a servir... pues bien, al cabo de 10 minutos tuve que bajar del 3 al 2 por la calor que me iba dando, aunque supongo que iba calentando la bata y a su vez el pijama y mi espalada; ya que cuando me la he puesto en la piel directamente no me ha quemado, como con la de mi madre ( que tiene más de 22 años), (la manta, no mi madre...que ya murió hace varios :( ) que no la aguantaba directamente en la piel y al máximo :). Otra cosa que comprobé en todas las almohadillas es que no llega el calor a todo el borde, digamos que le falta un cm y medio más o menos. También he leído algunas quejas sobre que se apaga a los 90 minutos,.. podría ser mejor si se pudiera programar, pero esas supongo que serán más caras, de todas formas está bien por si nos quedamos dormidos o nos vamos al limbo más de hora y media :D Después de haberos soltado toda esta parafernalia, espero haber ayudado a algo y al menos que sepáis que ya las almohadillas no calientan como las de antes... supongo que por algo será. Latest Review: The faulty product got replaced by Amazon, thanks to Beurer 3yr guarantee and quick response from the seller and Amazon customer service, got a new product delivered the next day I contacted the service desk. Old Review: The product stopped working after couple of days. The pad will not heat up even though the switch is working and showing colour. I have used the product before in Europe and asked for a replacement here. Complete waste of money and time. Do not spend money on this product.
