Switch works great, but the connectors supplied did not fit printer, odd connector

Have two desktops and one printer. This device works wells when I need to switch from one computer to another to print things.

Must be something with the cabling... connected two different computers to the ports... one worked and the other didn't? Swapped sides to see if that made any difference, it didn't change. So there may be a specific USB cable needed to work with the splitter. Both USB printer cables work fine on there own... just not when plugged into the switch selector. Otherwise... very easy to use.

Do not buy this is absolute junk stopped working after the return window.

This switch works as advertised and comes with everything you'd need to share one device between two computers. The switch itself is a small button on the top and the case has solid metal plates. The case is heavy enough to sit flat and has two small red indicator lights on top to show which computer is currently using the attached device. The corners of the case are a bit sharp but it is small enough to tuck out of the way.The two included output cables are unusual in that they're USB-B at the switch side to USB-A on the computer side. There aren't many devices using USB-B these days so if you needed a longer cable you would likely need to order one--the included cables are 5 feet long but I could see needing something longer depending on your setup.The switch functioned well and was recognized by both computers I used it with. This is a decent buy for the price and if you don't mind using the included cabling it will likely work for you.

This holds the dongle for my keyboard and mouse so that I can switch between my old computer and my new one for whatever tasks need to be done...makes my life easier.
