L’Artiste Marty Hand-Painted Leather Ankle Boots for Women – Cozy Flannel Lined Comfort Boot with Zipper Closure

I got these to wear for a special occasion but I'm expecting to wear the heck out of these through the fall and winter. I originally ordered the Victorian-looking ones from this brand but they were a little narrow for me, so this was a second try. I wear a 10 wide and these work. I would say they're probably spot on width-wise for a 10 regular, but the leather is supple enough that my wide feet fit okay with thin socks and I expect them to wear into the right width pretty quickly. They're also shaped a little better for wider feet with a decent amount of room in the toe box.The quality and look is amazing and I can't wait to wear them as soon as it gets cooler. They seem good for fall and mild winters, but I would wear them for extreme cold. I also wouldn't want to get them too wet since the leather and painted flowers are gorgeous. But otherwise, on a mild cool day they could be your every day boots.

Just the right balance of elegance & rugged, the boot is very comfortable, good arch support, no chafing at heel, very pleased with purchase!

I love these boots - stylish, nicely made and comfortable. And they do not make my long feet look huge! And I love the colour. Always get lots of compliments when I wear these. A bit disappointed that they mark easily and loose their colour when scratched. A quality olive green shoe polish does not fill in the colour fade. Also the lining on the inner sole has not been glued down properly on the right foot. Have other L`Artiste by Spring Step boots which I also love.

This is the first review I have ever written - I have never been so pleased with a purchase, and I purchase a lot!! I ordered these after being disappointed and returning another pair of red boots. I had to really hunt on the site to find these, and boy was it worth it. They are comfortable, gorgeous, and even my 19-year old likes them - and they don't like anything 😉. Give them a try, I promise you won't be disappointed!

I have always loved red shoes and boots. These are beautiful, leather and admittedly not practical but like love you sometimes have to take a chance. I could not get my foot in the boot past my top half. With both laces and a side zipper I thought the odds would be in my favor. Better luck next time.If you have a high instep you may want to reconsider your choice. Sigh....BTW - check who you buy from - the restocking fees can be quite high - the one I bought these shoes from delivered and refunded quickly but seems that other local shops/outlets may be selling these for much less. I keep a list of vendors who I will no longer purchase from.
