UPDATE 17th Nov 2018: I decided to use a descaler on the lance. I poured some through all nozzles and left it for quite a while. 1-2 hours. Rinsed it through with hot water. Then ran hot water through the pressure washer from the bottle. It's worked and it's now working well again. I thought it was a product failure and it's not so put rating back to a 5. UPDATE 10TH NOV 2018: well 5 months later and a handful of uses the lance has failed. Obviously not built to last. Some air leak as just chucking out liquid. I've always made sure I washed the lance through with water after use so no agents were left in it. P***ed off. My journey to find a decent lance continues.... Rating changed to a 2. Original review : This is a two part review as there's the lance and the snow foam. So starting with the lance.... I have used 2 lances before, both from Sam's Detailing/i6auto, which are a very similar price to this and I have to say this pro-kleen one is so much better. Straight away you can see it is better quality. It's a lot sturdier and the design is a lot better. The sam's detailing one had some cheaper connections that just broke. This lance worked a treat. I opened the top valve a quarter turn and that was enough to give a nice thick foam. Adjusting the spray worked well too and i was able to cover the car quickly and easy. What I will say is this lance seems to go through the contents of the bottle very quickly. I made up 800ml in the bottle as with previous lances 1000ml was too much. The 800ml was just enough to do the whole car (an average size saloon). So I will make up 1000ml next time. But in short, very pleased with the lance. Highly recommended. So the foam then.... I mixed as per the instructions: 1 part to 3 parts water. This produced a nice thick foam tht covered the car well. This is thicker than foams I've used in the past (but might be because of the better pro-kleen lance) but not as clingy as say Angel Wax fast foam. Seemed to do an ok job at lossening dirt. But probably not the best foam i've used. That said, I will happily use it again as it offers good value. If you're expecting the car to look gleaming from just a snow foam you're a fool. It's a pre wash stage. That said, living in the country I often use it as a quick wash to remove the worst of it without getting my hands dirty. So if you want a nice thick foam that looks cool, and does a reasonable job relative to cost as you're mearly using this as a prewash, then this ticks the boxes. In short, excellent lance, pretty good foam offering good value for money.

Some of the other review pics don't do this foam lance justice in terms of the thickness you can get out of it. At it's max setting it applies a thick foam that sticks to the car and slowly drips off, removing the top layer of dirt and prepping it for a wash. It can even be used without washing afterwards as it gets the majority of the visible layer off. Anyone looking for a good quality snow foam lance which is good value for oney should buy this. Some brands are selling them for £40+ on thier own - this comes with 5 litres of foam! Highly recommend.

The foam lance didn't fit my original Karcher K2.14 pressure washer trigger gun. The bayonet connector would not go deep enough to allow me to twist it into the locking prosition. It appears to be a problem with older models with a short trigger gun. In the end I upgrade mine with - Kärcher Replacement 7.5 m High Pressure Hose and Hand Gun, Quick Connect System Pressure Washer Accessory - available on amazon and it fits the new gun easily. The foam itself is nice and thick and turned my black merc into a snowman of an SUV. The 1L bottle lasted just long enough to cover my SUV. It smells nice too. Hard to say how well this product cleans as I used it as a pre-wash with a wash mit and shampoo as follow up. The foam also didn't last a long as I expected and dissipated within a few minutes. But its my first time using it so will experiement a little more. There's enough foam liquid to last me a very long time, using only 250ml of foam liquid per wash. Overall happy with the product, but loses a star for the issues mentioned above.

After a few months finally got around to using this. Instructions are nice and clear and it's simple to fill the bottle. One thing to note is that I found the bayonet fitting to be a bit snug on my Karcher pressure washer. At first I thought it was the wrong size but when I compared it with the other accessories everything looked to be about the right size. A bit of persistence and some extra oomph and I managed to get it to fit. The foam it produces isn't the thick "iced cake" I was expecting, but it's persistent enough to stay in place and allow a rub over with a microfibre cloth to shift stubborn dirt like bird droppings. Overall I'm very pleased - the 4* for ease of use is because it was a bit tricky to attach to the pressure washer but once on it worked perfectly. Thoroughly recommended.

Hi I have an ibiza fr, first time I've used this product and lance which comes with the package. It recommends you fill the lance bottle 250ml of snow foam but I just put 300ml and nice warm water, starting using it and found to get it really thick and glupy on the car you have to use it at max setting but ends up using the whole bottle on my car and it's hardly a tank but the quality of it is amazingly thick, you can see the dirt running down the car but I used a sponge all over the bodywork and didn't even touch my alloys just jetwashed them at the end and the results are amazing. Unfortunately as it looks so good I've gotta do the Mrs car now. And the wax it leaves on the car is great. Well done on creating such a good product.

Unpacked the lance and foaming solution, super excited and threw away all the papers, who needs the instructions anyway? Life has no instructions, right! Got set up and foamed the car like a dream, changed the nozzle on the jet wash to pressure lance and washed it all off, my driveway looked like something from the Winter Olympics! The dirt came off the car really good but then as the sun came out all the streaks appeared! Standing back to admire my work, with a slightly proud stance. My wife, whom I thought was going to tap me on the back for a “well done” gesture, instead laughing with instructions in hand...... What I discovered was that instructions should be read and the foam worked in by a sponge to remove the stubborn dirt then after washing, wipe over with a cloth. After having a calm relaxing conversation with my ‘better half’ I have a very clean and shiny car. Note to self, instructions are for girls!

I'm useless at storing things so couldn't find my snow foam lance or even my huge bottle of snow foam so thought I'd give this a go. The lance fit my K3 perfectly and works very well. It covered my car with a nice thick layer of foam. I mixed 25% with warm water. The foam, unfortunately, is terrible at cleaning. I've used other brands before where using snow foam gets the car fairly clean. This snow foam, however, barely removed any dirt. My car is black so I've tried to take a picture showing how filthy the car still is on the door as it's drying and on the window. No snow foam is perfect, waterless washing is miles better than all snow foams, but this foam was very poor and just spraying the car with my jetwash would have given the same desired effect. Smells good though (as pointless as that is).

Really good car shampoo and smells gorgeous

Lo primero decir que me he llevado un chasco. La lanza no está mal, demasiado ancho el arco, será cuestión de conseguir graduarlo bien porque un chorro salía disparado salpicando por todas partes. Encaja perfectamente con la Katcher. El jabón es la decepción. El coche tenía unas salpicaduras de charcos, nada de incrustaciones ni manchas difíciles de alquitrán o similares, la espuma lo deja exactamente igual. No ablanda la suciedad ni mucho menos la hace escurrir como esperaba, la proporción ha sido como indica el fabricante1/4 y 3/4 de agua caliente. He dejado el jabón casi 10 minutos pero nada de nada, eso si, huele de maravilla. Probare otras proporciones y si el asunto mejora editaré la opinión.

Para que el coche quede como se ve en los videos que he visto en internet habria que mezclar al menos al 50%/50% agua y jabon, pero eso si, mezclando lo que indica fabricante labespuma generada es suficiente y el coche queda brillante, las cosas como son.
