The smell of this product isn't the most pleasant, and it's a bit oily, BUT I've used this many times on trips abroad (Brazil, Indonesia, Vietnam) and it really works. I was diligent about putting this on during all my trips and I never got bit my mosquitos — I usually am a magnet for them. The one time I got bit 3 times in the span of 3 hours is when I took a shower in the middle of the day and forgot to put more deet on... but that's how I realized it works when you use it!

This is an absolute solid product. It definitely repels mosquitoes and ticks. I recently traveled to India and even though mosquitoes really aren't a problem right now, it was definitely effective with the mosquitoes I did see or encounter. The only thing I have a complaint about is that the formula is extremely greasy and you will need to spray it into your hand in order to rub it on the skin as the aerosol pump does not miss it sprays in a stream.

I am prone to getting bit by mosquitoes living in the desert and Caribbean when i travel. i bought this vs. OFF brand & let me just say IT WORKS like an armor! I wore it every single day & only got bit 2 times on the legs when i forgot to put it on. the consistency is almost oil like BUT it will dry in time. the smell isn’t too bad (light smell) but it’s also meant to work off insects so didn’t bother me too much. i used 1 bottle & barely got to half way during my week long trip. i will say the spray nozzle was a lil messy & spray streak vs. spray but it is what it is. must buy if you need insect/mosquito repellent!

Best insect repellent for all types of bugs

I Spray it on my hat and the bugs don't come around me. Good product. One problem is the spray tops leak you you end up with more product on your hand. What a waste 🗑.

The good news is that I didn't get any ticks or mosquito bites when using this. The bad news is that the packaging was pretty mediocre and there was bug spray liquid all over the packaging that had leaked out in transit.
