This item was purchased to replace a pair of hand shears I bought many years ago. I was going to replace with the same make and model but then saw these hand shears. I read the reviews and they were really good especially one review which stated that these hand shears were made of metal and so were better than plastic hand shears. My previous hand shears were made of plastic so I decided to give these hand shears a go because clearly metal shears would be better than plastic ones and they were much cheaper than the replacement ones I was going to purchase. I am not disappointed by these shears. They are great. They blades are everso sharp. The blades can be turned easily to assist with cutting grass in different places. They are easy to use and are comfortable in your hand. I am really pleased with these shears and would definitely recommend them.

Good grass cutters for doing the edges. Super sharp but 4 stars because the spring in the middle keeps coming out but easily fixed with some super glue

I bought these to tidy up my lawn edges that butt up against a stone wall. I was fed-up with the strimmer needing re-threading every few minutes. Nice & light, easy to grip, kinda 'spring loaded' - so I haven't experienced hand cramp. The swivel position is useful also. Now, I don't have a large lawn, so they do the job for me & give a neat edge as opposed to a chewed or shaved one!
