I wanted to keep the look of my vehicle's OEM stereo and this was the only way I could find to do so with the minimum of hassle. I also wanted to be able to connect my iPod as well and this device covers both areas. It simply connects to the existing CD changer port on my Toyota Rav4 stereo (which has a built in 6 CD auto-changer). Once the stereo is removed, which is fairly easy to do as multiple YouTube videos are available, but take your time to avoid scratching the plastic components. Routing the cable to the unit is fairly straightforward but take your time to avoid drilling any unnecessary holes in the trim. The device needs a very strict folder structure on either a USB memory stick or SD card, which has a limitation of 99 songs per folder ans are named CD01, CD02, etc. My stereo does not display track information but this hit and miss approach to selecting music is quite enjoyable as I never know what I will get next. Overall, I am happy with this product - I could have bought the same thing much cheaper from another supplier but that would have meant waiting weeks and the resultant problems if things went wrong, so I chose Amazon for peace of mind. This device is not perfect, but suits my need to keep the OEM stereo look that I needed.
