Sevi : Large Wooden Nativity Scene

I bought this as a Christmas present for my two baby grandchildren. It's a lovely product and I know they will get it out and display it for many years' to come. The design would appeal to adults as well as children and the pieces are very nicely made.

A beautifully crafted nativity set that will take pride of place in our home at Christmas for many years to come.The pieces are well made and beautifully decorated. A rather big box, so a lot of empty space within, but better that way than crammed in. The set contains:- Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, donkey, cow, 2 shepherds, 2 sheep, 3 wise men, 2 camels, angel, stable with star, 2 trees, and the base mat.

A very child-friendly nativity set which will have years of use. The only suggestion to improve this would be that baby Jesus and the manger are separate items to enable baby Jesus to be put into the manager.

Just received this and it is lovely, each piece individually made and wrapped. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is that one of the pieces (a Camel) was damaged, the shoulder of the animal was chipped and the paint was flaking away - see photo.It's a real shame.

Nice crib in a home where there are young kids. Brought out the real meaning of Christmas.

Overall this is a beautiful nativity set. However, quality control is mediocre, and customer relations at Sevi/Trudi are terrible. One of the pieces in my set was defective. The wood and paint were badly cracked. The piece looks terrible. I contacted Sevi/Trudi for a replacement piece. They directed me back to the vendor (Amazon). Amazon was willing to replace the entire set; however, they were sold out and did not expect stock until next year after the Christmas break, and I would be on the hook to pay brokerage fees again (I live in Canada) if a replacement item was sent out. In the end I settled for a small rebate and kept the set.I contacted Sevi/Trudi again and they have since ignored my emails. Very poor customer relations; I will not purchase another Sevi product again.

Era un set che volevo prendere da tanto tempo e alla fine l'ho preso anche se a prezzo pieno ma ne vale veramente la pena! Completo con tutti pastorelli, magi, natività, palme.. anche il telo da usare come base è grande e di color neutro per poterlo adattare. personaggi ben realizzati e resistenti!

Cette crèche est charmante, de style naïf. Pas forcément pour enfants. Tout en bois. Et elle est bien fournie : tous les personnages sont là. Un enchantement, sur le buffet !

Además de precioso, es de muy buena calidad, está muy bien pulido y los colores son tal como muestra la imagen. La única pega es que solo trae dos camellos. Pero no se porqué eso es algo que sucede en muchos pesebres que se compran en un pac. Deben de pensar que uno de los reyes, hace el recorrido a pie.Sería ideal que ampliaran el pesebre con más figuras. Mis nietos juegan encantados con estas figuras.

Amazing little nativity set!! Be aware that the Jesus is attached to the manger. In case that's important to some (many have the tradition to leave out the baby Jesus until Christmas Eve). We adore this set and expect it to become a family heirloom.

Ich bin ganz begeistert von dieser sehr süß gestalteten Krippe. Auf der Verpackung gibt es den Hinweis, dass es sich nicht um ein Spielzeug handelt und sich das Produkt nicht für Kinder unter 3 Jahre eignet. In der Tat sind die Figuren sehr liebevoll und kindgerecht bemalt und gestaltet, aber für sehr wilde Rabauken nicht wirklich zum Spielen geeignet. Für Kinder, die etwas sanfter mit den Figuren umgehen, kann man aber auch alles zum Spielen benutzen.Die Figurenanzahl und -vielfalt begeistert mich ebenfalls: es gibt den Stall mit Stern und Teppich, Maria, Josef und das Jesukind in der Krippe, zwei Hirten mit zwei Schafen, die drei Könige aus dem Morgenland mit Geschenken, zwei Kamele und zwei Palmen, und natürlich den Engel. Zusätzlich gibt es noch ein großes Stück sandfarbenen Filz, auf das man alles dekorieren kann.Alles in allem finde ich den Preis absolut gerechtfertigt, und mein kleiner Sohn (2) kann es auch gar nicht erwarten, die Krippe unter dem Weihnachtsbaum aufzubauen.Update: die Krippe hat bei uns etwa 6 Jahre unterm Weihnachtsbaum gestanden und wurde von meinen beiden Kindern fleißig bespielt. Es wurde manche Figur auch etwas unsanft behandelt, aber keine hat je darunter gelitten. Sie haben einfach alles mitgemacht, nicht mal der Lack ist abgesprungen! Inzwischen haben wir die Krippe an unseren ehemaligen Kindergarten weitergegeben. Ich kann sie nur wärmstens empfehlen, die Qualität ist unschlagbar!
