These elastic shoe laces are really great. If you have a senior living with you, or know someone who struggles getting their tie shoes on, these are a must for them. I have a few great pairs of jogging shoes, that I just hated to put on. They are so wonderful, comfortable, but a pain the the butt when I'm in a hurry and want to get them on quick. By the time you sit down, bend over, loosen the darn laces, put them on, and tie them, you're ready to give up what you were about to do. They come in colors that match your shoes too. Give these a try, they are worth it.

Loved the idea of swapping out my regular laces for elastic ones. I cut the plastic tips off the ends because the laces I ordered were too long (my fault). I tied a knot on each end if the laces before I washed in the washing matching and the lace ends unraveled. I will trim off the excess and keep the knot on the end tight. I’d still buy these again though!

Durability: they are thick but not too thick, with a good stretch to them, and the product comes with 2 sets just in case. My son was easily able to put his shoes on and off, and said they felt comfy. The lace has a good tight stretch and doesn’t seem lose. They are easy to slip through holes on shoes. They are fairly easy to use, I do have some tips. Ensure you put the lace through the bottom of the shoe and make sure both ends of the laces are the same size. To make sure it’s even. Then, loop the through as usual. Have yourself /shoe owner try the shoe on once it’s laced up. If they feel comfy, proceed. If not, loosen them and adjust them before tying the knot. The the knot tight and close to the hole of the shoe. I suggest double knotting and pulling slightly. Cut just above the knot, and burn well. I found that they did remain slightly sticky. Whether that was from me over/under burning, I am unsure. But once tried on, they seemed to hold up. I shall update after wearing for a few weeks.

These are a year old .I have put many many miles on these .They hold up and hold snug. Look great .
