perfect! upgraded from my old dolce gusto machine and everything about the nespresso machine feels superior. sleeker, better coffee, more aesthetic. love love love. the offer currently of 50 pods and a travel mug is great too. the aeroccino is amazing for warming and frothing milk too. highly recommend anyone getting this for their own perfect at home cafe

So I deliberated over so many different coffee machines before purchasing this one. I have always had a normal coffee machine, but never a capsule one. I researched everything about the different styles of machines and what was good value for money. I watched many videos on which machine performed better and what people were saying about them. I contemplated the latissma model that came with a milk compartment but the reviews on it werent the best so it put me off even though it was cheaper. My friend already has a similar model to this one where she has an aerocinno for the milk and she said she swears by it every morning. To be honest i couldnt agree with her more, the aeroccino is so easy to use as well. I know this is a little on the expensive side (if you're not wanting to spend more than £100) but its worth every penny in my eyes. I am a big coffee lover, if i wanted to save a few pennies i probably would have gone for a Dolche and my friends say they are just as good. However i enjoy the taste of coffee, and i have had a nespresso coffee before when staying at some hotels that have them in their rooms. So i knew i wouldnt be dissapointed. Even though i like my flavoured coffees which i would have had the variety in other models, i am happy i went with this one as i cant stop using it. I hope this helps someone make a decision over whether to go with nespresso or not, however i honestly cant fault it. Even comes with a starter/welcome pack. Overall if you love your coffee shop style coffee then nespresso machines are probably going to be your best bet. Also ive used compatible pods which work fine and taste great, other brands dont offer you the choice of buying cheaper compatible alternatives. However if you arent fussed and want more variety on styles of coffee with a quicker result the other brands would probably be more up your street.

Easily one of the best buys I’ve ever made. IMHO this machine is preferable to the many ‘barista’ style machines which cost far more and frankly are a pain to prepare, what with grinding, tamping and frothing, not to mention the cleaning required afterwards. There are a vast variety of pods available to suit multiple palates and somehow I doubt that in a ‘blind tasting’ not many ‘coffee snobs’ would be able to tell the difference. This machine is quick and easy to use and produces excellent coffee in record time. Highly recommended.

Pros: +This machine along with the aeroccino makes really tasty coffee. I'm a type 1 diabetic so the fact I can make cappuccinos with unsweetened almond milk is such a win. +Looks stylish in the kitchen and isn't too bulky. I was surprised how small this machine is. +Has a pod bin built in that the used pods go into automatically so you don't have the take them out before each use, this holds about 10 pods. +Large selection of pods at very affordable prices, I can get 10 pods for cheaper than one coffee at a coffee shop +Can use any milk you want to e.g. almond, oat, soya, coconut etc Cons -VERY loud! I was shocked the first time I used it how loud it actually is. I'm used to it now though -the machine vibrates a lot. You can't put a mug/glass underneath the spout and walk away whilst a drink is being made, in case the vibration of the machine makes it fall off the tray (nespresso should have added sides to the tray so this can't happen) -there's no warning that the water level is low. I was making a drink and the water ran out so the drink was not made properly. The water tank is at the back and I have my machine in the corner so quite hard to tell when the water level is low All in all a great machine that makes really tasty coffee. I am happy with my purchase regardless of the cons I have found with the machine.

Makes a great cup of coffee! Fairly compact at 12cm wide (24cm wide with milk frother), 38cm long (which includes bending the wire at the back - see photos) and 28cm high. The water reservoir at the back has been re-designed from older models I have had to include a hook near the top to keep it in place - this removes any leaking. The reservoir is enough for 5 or 6 cups of Grande. The milk frother is part of this model and whips up the milk in a minute or so producing a restaurant level latte. The pods are pricey, but recyclable and there are many cheaper pod options on the market that are compatible with this machine. Overall, excellent coffee machine that looks good too!

Good things: This Magimix branded machine is well made with a nice metal drip tray and quality feel. The same machine is available with a Krups logo. Both are actually made by a company called Frismag so get whichever brand you like the look of. It heats up quickly, albeit with some drips into the drip tray while doing so. Capsules drop in and then eject into a small waste bin. It makes decent smooth coffee - none of the bitter dishwater our previous machine made. The aeroccino frother works well - skimmed or full fat milk warms up and can be frothed to varying degrees. Add the little spring thing to the impellor and it makes amazing capuccino foam. Less good things: None of the nesspresso stuff seems to be very strong, even capsules rated at 10s and 12s. Goodness knows what the 3s and 4s are like. (We've tried some L'Or Ristretto compatibles which aren't bad at all and only 25p each) The Lungo isn't very long: Half a mug at best so you'll need two capsules on a saturday morning. Drinks aren't that hot - fine to drink immediately though. And finally the milk frother needs to be hand rinsed with detergent and wiped out after every use. Should you buy one? If you just want strong coffee then stick with an aeropress, cafetiere or whatever but if you fancy knocking up a surprisingly good flat white or espresso at home then why not. I'm a cheapskate so bought mine from Warehouse Deals as 'Used Acceptable'. The box was original but badly opened and resealed, the 16 sample capsules were missing and there was condensation in the water tank but the machine was as-new.

Had a Delonghi Nespresso for a few years. It recently stopped working so I had a look around for a replacement. I’m so glad I went for this one. It is very quick and easy to use and to clean. Coffee ready in around a minute. Frothy milk every time. The water capacity is great too. Most impressive is the heat. I’m used to lukewarm coffee but this is very hot. Really impressive. Although you can get machines at a fraction of the price I would still pay for this machine as it delivers on everything.

States it's a UAE version however the plug is European so doesn't work with the UAE (British) sockets - I'm now buying an adaptor - would have been good to know!

Been using it for a while now. Love every bit of this mini monster.

I’ve used this nespresso bought in UK before and this works the same! it’s great. I’ll edit and update this review if there’s a defect soon. Update as of July 2022: The machine still works perfectly I haven’t had any issues.

We ordered the Nespresso Citiz with the hope it will give us the lovely morning coffee cappuccino. Unfortunately, the milk broth didn't heat much. We will have to return it by the end!
