I bought this for my 5 year old grandson. With my help, we both easily were able to assemble each kit. Connecting the circuit needs to be done by an adult or older child. Directions are easy to follow. AA batteries needed for all. Great price for all 5 well made kits.

Very nice in all regards. Does require some adult assistance only due to the fact that little fingers sometimes have difficulty in attaching this or that in small spaces. But once assembled - and that in itself is FUN - the item works and the excitement by the kids is great. Get these and launch an engineer .....

My child LOVED building these. I knocked off one star because the Ferris wheel was missing a wire so we weren’t able to make that one. The kit itself was fabulous! The instructions were clear and my child had so much fun building what they could.

For about $15 this will give you 3 to 4 hours of entertainment for the kids. Everything is rather simple to put together, but the Ferris wheel was a little difficult and one piece broke, but overall it could be re-glued for the price it’s an amazing deal and value.

I purchased this kit for a student. It is just the right level of difficulty for a student who has some knowledge about woodworking and assembling. The one slightly difficult part of setting up the circuits. The wires are very thin and the connecting rings are very small. But then again… wouldn’t want it to be too easy for a 12 year old? These kids can also be painted . I wasn’t aware they actually ran on batteries. We are having a lot of fun with them. Great purchase. Better than described!

We bought this for our 9 year old and she loved it. This is the second kit we have bought for her from this brand/company. The first was remote controlled dinosaurs. She said this one was more fun and challenging to build, but the dinosaur one was more fun to play with afterwards. She did not paint them which I would suggest doing before they are built. It took her about 30 to 45 minutes to put each one together. These are actually pretty durable and have very friendly design and instructions. We think the value is so good for the price, especially when you consider the amount of time she gets put into them. The only issue we had with this kid is fiber optic nightlight had to be soldered for the wire connections to work. Not sure if this was just one bad kit for us or a common problem but it only happened on that one.

Only two/five of the sets ended in success. The windmill came with no wires, the star light would not work, and the carousel pieces were not even cut correctly. The other two sets were awesome though!

Perfect for children

My 9 year old loved these. Some he did completely on his own, some he needed some help. This was our first kit like this and it was great.

While the projects were interesting for my child it was disappointing that the starlight came with none of the screws. We had to break a old toy to get the screws to finish that project.
