Wonderful!
Arrived quickly to me. Immediately knew it would be my EDC and automatically turned into my catch all wallet/planner/journal combo. This is waxed canvas, so it easily gets a weathered look. Keep this in mind if you want something that looks pristine-this may not be for you. I will probably add some grommets so I can add more small journals in, but for just one or two, I think this is perfect. Impressed by the capacity. I currently have a memo pad in the back, two pens in the front, a 3.5x6” planner and one of the two included field notes journals (which I’m also glad to see were included.) for the price, I think this is excellent if it’s what you’re looking for. as a lady, I don’t think it’d fit into my Jean pocket, but it’s wonderful to throw in a bad. Feels sturdy, stitching is clean, perfect amount of pockets to turn into a small wallet. Zippers are great, haven’t gotten stuck so far. I’d say the canvas is lightly waxed, super happy with it!

Great little journal
This is a very nice field journal, it’s every bit as nice as the more expensive one.It looks to be very durable .Same quality stitching, same quality cover material. The size makes it very easy to take with me, it fits in a lot of my back pockets on the pants that I wear. If you like cargo shorts and pants you will love the size of this, very versatile and most useful. I never thought I would be the guy to use one of these things but here I am. I fly fish and take notes on different things.

Nice little case made from quality materials
I use this to carry around some pencils, a watercolor pad and a very small watercolor pallet, which does fit inside, but just barely. The watercolor case is slim/credit card sized but with the pad and other items inside it’s a tight fit. The case itself is made from a canvas type material that seems very durable and sturdy, as does the zipper, which is rugged and thick. I suspect you’d really need to beat up on the zipper for it break and fail. The construction seems very solid. I believe it’s waterproof, as well You can fit some regular sized pens and pencils in the pockets on the outside in the front and back and perhaps two small notebooks or pads inside, as long as they’re very slim. There’s also a little mesh pocket on the inside where you can store a few small items and two tiny pockets above it where you can store some more items, as long as they’re very thin. Even if you do decide to overstuff it a bit, once you zip it shut, whatever is inside should be secure. I wasn’t expecting to store a bunch of items inside, so am pleased with the purchase. But if you’re looking to use it to store anything bulky or thick inside (thicker drawing/note pads and so forth) I’d look for something else

Well made, durable, but not pocket sized
This is nicely made and the price is very competitive with other companies making similar products. The construction is just as good as others you might find on Amazon for twice the price. I use this to hold a 3 x 5 rite in the rain notebook, a mechanical pencil, small ruler, and an eraser. Everything fits nicely and as much as I appreciate that the only negative I will mention is this isn't pocket sized. You won't fit this in your back pocket. I was wearing tactical pants when I first received this and it didn't fit well in the cargo pockets. However, what this cover exceeds at is keeping all your writing tools i.e. pencils, pens, erasers, notebooks, all in a nice little cover that's weather proof. The zipper closure is nice and smooth making this great for carrying out to a job site, taking notes, and keeping all your notes in one place. I don't think this is something you're going to take out to the field jot a note down, put this is your pocket and do some work. This is something you can set down out in the weather to do a job and not worry about mud, rain, or other elements damaging your notes. Like any tool, it can be incredibly valuable the better you learn to use it in a practical sense.

Nice 3.5 pocket notebook cover
Compared to a lochby. Which I’ve had two. This is my favorite of the “knockoffs”. Great price. The canvass is a much coarser weave than the lochby. Doesn’t feel particularly waxy. Will probably wax it myself. But the main takeaway is this is slightly bigger than the lochby in the right places. Pictures taken are with both notebooks holding a rhodia web notebook. Hardback and a lot of pages. The lochby feels stretched when you stuff this notebook in it. The spine of the tintris or whatever it’s called is slightly thicker. As well as the other dimensions. But the spine thickness is what allows it to accommodate thicker notebooks. The interior pockets will accommodate flip notebooks. Staple bound or spiral. But they don’t take up as much space and feels like to much bulk for that amount of paper. But I love this one for its ability to hold my favorite pocket notebook. I would not have bought it if the zippers were not ykk. And at first I didn’t like the idea of having two zippers. But you can push one in further and hide it and have the usual exposed one. Compared to the lochby which opens the same way every time. The tintris allows you to choose where to park the zippers. Also the backing ( whatever they use to stiffen the back) is thicker and stiffer on the tintris. It feels beefier. But mainly it accommodates my favorite pocket notebook so it moves into 1st place in this category. I still like the lochby if you are going to use their size notebook or a small staple bound clairfontaine. It is small and flexible so if no pens are in it you can throw it in your back pocket and not worry about anything being smushed bad. And lochby uses tomoe river paper. I think the old stock because it is one of the best for fountain pens. The one that comes with this is not. Only my diamond registrars ink on an Ef nib doesn’t bleed through or ghost. Everything else does. It does have a nifty pen slot built into the front of the cover. But if they used the 52 gsm tomoe river paper those would have been killer notebooks. They work if you use gel or ballpoint tho

Tough, well made and looks great.
It's perfect. Feels sturdy and well made. I keep 3 Field Notes in it with space to spare. The front pouch can hold multiple pens and a pocket knife etc. Awesome buy.

Love this little field journal! Fits great in a purse or pocket (men's pants). Well made, great zipper (doesn't open unless you open it which is nice for peace of mind), sturdy and can take a beating as well as, weather resistant; holding up really well in the field. Holds a number of pens/pencils snugly (you never know even though the pic shows it does). Had it for several years now and very happy.

Unfortunately the zipper is not very smooth and it takes a lot of effort to get it around the corners. Especially to get it out of the top or bottom. It seems to be a YKK zipper. But at least my zipper doesn't work as it should be. I wanted to contact the company, but I didn't find any contact details of Tintris. The next thing is, it's a little too big for me. I fit a Field Notes inside and there is some space at the top and bottom. Exactly this space makes it a little too big. If I pack it in my back pocket of my jeans it's uncomfortable. I don't take a bag with me, so it's a bummer.
