No spanner in the box only Allen key ????

You only need a Allen key anyway. I only use a spanner if I am putting a wire brush on this grinder that has a spanner type on the thread.

Does it cut through slabs?

With a diamond blade it easily cuts paving slabs, but with it only having small diameter disc, you need to cut both sides

Can ferrex 125 mm discs be used with this DeWalt angle grinder

Not a 100% positive, but I bought this for it being a 115mm grinder, so only use 115mm discs, sorry this might not be of help

Do i need a transformer or can i plug it in house mains?

It is 240volt ac, plug it into the mains uk.
