Klorane Centaury Anti-Yellowing Shampoo for Grey, Blonde Hair 200ml

I've been using this shampoo intermittently for the last three years but have been focusing on the blue shampoos for the last 18 months. I've finally decided that my hair isn't ready for the blue shampoos - and I've got them all. My hair has greyed on both sides but is otherwise still very pigmented dark blond/light brown and the blue shampoos make my pigmented strands a colour that isn't very attractive, and also dull my very grey bits, strangely enough. So after all this time I've come to the conclusion that Klorane is nicest on my hair at this stage of my greying process. It brightens it up the best, whilst matching up to my pigment the best and suits my palour the best. I do find that if I apply too much it makes my hair too clean - too straight and a bit flyaway so only wash it the once and only use a v small blob the size of a 50p piece, or less. After 3 years I'm still on the first bottle - just.

This shampoo is beyond doubt the best shampoo i have ever tried for grey hair. 1stly its not purple so it doesnt put that artificial purple/blue tinge on your hair which to be frank looks awful. 2nd it smells amazing, like walking through the English summer countryside 3rd you dont have to use conditioner, it leaves your hair flyaway soft 4th you dont have to use it more than once a week to keep it in great condition I am 100% grey now and so will continue to use this as part of my beauty routine. You just shampoo and leave on for a few minutes, i leave mine on for 5 minutes and i dont have any yellow tinge to my hair, i think this is also down to the fact that i use paraben free shampoo and conditioner on a daily basis which also helps. Love it.

I have previously used the Klorane white shampoo for grey hair and was very pleased with it leaving my grey hair a lovely silver colour. I do use a purple shampoo in between but find overuse leaves a blue tinge on my hair. Consequently I ordered the Klorane white coloured shampoo for grey hair. However, when the shampoo arrived it was the purple one, which I specifically did not want. The photo of the item on the order is the white one. I have tried to return it but the site tells me this is non-returnable!! Very disappointing and I shall not attempt to purchase this again on line.

I thought I was getting a dry shampoo. I have recently had a cataract op and wanted a dry shampoo. This shampoo was advertised among many others under 'dry shampoo' in Yahoo. However, it seems to have a number of qualities that could be useful to my hair. I will try it at the hairdressers and see then if it lives up to expectations.

I bought this on the basis of the reviews as I have 'growing out' grey/white hair at the roots, and bleached blonde elsewhere. I really like this shampoo, particularly the fact that it isn't purple (I also use a purple shampoo but don't want to overdo it!). This shampoo has a good consistency, lathers well, and seems to enhance the white hair at my temples. My reservation though, is the smell, which is really strong! I've noticed over the years that very strongly scented shampoos can irritate my scalp, and this one is no exception - if I use it continually I get breakouts on my scalp, which is never a good thing! So, 4 stars not 5, but if you don't have particularly sensitive skin it's definitely recommended.

This shampoo is just wonderful. It lathers well, has a delightful scent and leaves my hair clean and soft. It does seem to enhance the silvery tones in my hair - the effect is subtle, but nonetheless I can see a slight difference with regular use over time of this shampoo. My hair is naturally thick and coarse with a tendency to being frizzy - but this shampoo leaves it feeling manageable! I thoroughly recommend this product.

This product arrived almost before I ordered it! Super quick delivery. Nice. As others have mentioned, there is no need to use a conditioner with this shampoo as it leaves hair really soft (so don't get it if you don't like/want soft hair!). I do and like the fact that washing my hair is quicker and cheaper now that I'm cutting out the whole conditioning cycle. I bought this shampoo because the white hair I have at the front of my head is yellow-y at the ends. I'm not sure that this shampoo has or can affect that, though, as I've realised that the yellow/blonde is my hair colour and not due to environmental factors. Perhaps it will lighten after time.

I have "salt & pepper" gray -- but the base color isn't really pepper, but medium brown, which means it can look mousy if there isn't sufficient contrast between the gray and the brown. A shampoo made for gray hair is designed to clarify -- remove mineral and other deposits from the gray so it is a true silver color. Often these shampoos have a purple or blue cast to them, and in general aren't designed to be used every shampoo or you'll end up with old lady blue hair. However, this product can be used more frequently and doesn't appear to have any dyes in it at all. I immediately loved this product. The scent is a very subtle herbal/floral -- not heavy or perfume-y at all. Like most high quality shampoos, it does not produce heavy lather, because it doesn't contain harsh detergents that create that foamy lather. The product cleans the hair without stripping it dry -- which is important with gray hair, because the wiry grays can easily get a straw-like texture with harsh shampoos. I find using this, I do not need a conditioner at all -- which is a big change for me. I always conditioned, sometimes even adding a leave-in conditioner. However, with this product, it is simply wash, rinse, repeat, then done. After towel drying my hair I use a smoothing product, followed by air or blow dry. The result, even without conditioners, is a smooth "finished" texture, and bright silver grays. I have the contrast and texture I like. This product is a little pricey, however it takes very little product to clean my hair, so I'm using less than I did with my regular shampoo (Frederick Fekkai) , and achieving a superior outcome.

Ottimo shampoo, la Klorane è una casa francese che produce prodotti con ingredienti naturali, questo Shampoo alla Centaurea è bellissimo per i capelli bianchi o grigi, prima era bianco, adesso è di colore blu viola. Lascia i capelli luminosi senza effetto fata turchina. Ottimo!

Este champú no es blanco como indica la fotografía, sino de un color morado intenso, y proporciona a la cana un color plateado brillante, es recomendable usarlo con una buena mascarilla que nutra el cabello y un buen suavizante, pués los productos para cabellos canosos tienen tendencia a resecar el cuero cabelludo
