Yes it does but each ½ teaspoon serving (1gram) contains 34mg of caffeine, compared to 70-180mg for a cup of coffee. The L- Theanine found in Matcha slows down the release of caffeine into the body giving a sustained release jitter free energy

Why are there lumps in my OMGTea Matcha?

Believe it or not, lumps are a sign of quality! To avoid lumps, we recommend using a tea strainer. Hold the strainer over your mug or bowl and put the matcha through it before mixing helping you to make the perfect cup of matcha every time!
