Reliable Powerhouse: Silverline 282400 Air Framing Nailer
I recently had the opportunity to put the Silverline 282400 Air Framing Nailer through its paces, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in many ways. First and foremost, let's talk about performance. Paired with a modest 50-litre air compressor, this beast effortlessly drove 50mm nails into 28 meters of feather edge boards without a single hiccup. Even when I accidentally encountered metal, causing a potential for a jam, this nailer powered through without faltering. Its reliability under pressure truly impressed me. One of the standout features of the Silverline 282400 is its exceptional value. With battery-powered alternatives commanding nearly four times the price, this air-framing nailer delivers top-notch performance without breaking the bank. This is an absolute steal for DIY enthusiasts or professionals on a budget. While it's true that the Silverline 282400 isn't the lightest tool on the block, its weight is justified by the quality of materials and construction. This nailer feels solid and durable, instilling confidence that it can handle whatever job you throw its way. However, I must mention one minor gripe - the absence of a dust protector for the inlet during storage. It's a small detail that would have added convenience and peace of mind. In conclusion, I highly recommend the Silverline 282400 Air Framing Nailer to anyone needing a reliable powerhouse for their woodworking projects. Its unbeatable performance, exceptional value, and robust build make it a standout choice. Whether you're a seasoned professional or a weekend warrior, this nailer won't disappoint.

Excellent Cheap Reliable Framing Nailer
Purchased this nailer to build a fence. It was used for firing both 90mm & 50mm annular ring nails. The instructions say that it can NOT be used for 90mm ring nails a max of 75mm ring nails & 90mm smooth. I found no issues driving 90mm Timco FirmaHold nails & TACWISE 1723 3.1/90 mm Extra Galvanised Framing Nails into rough sawn fencing timber. For the money this is a fantastic framing nailer. If you want a cheap reliable nailer then this is it. As others have said, its heavy but I can live with that. If I was using in all day, everyday perhaps a lighter nailer would be better.

Great but flawed
Like: If you can keep the air connected, it is amazing. I bought it to build a shed and it fires through two widths of 4 x 2 with ease and still buries the nail head around 1/4" Dislike: The air connection doesn't stay on. I've tried two pipes, a coiled lightweight one, and a full 1/2" professional one. It pops off both every thirty seconds. I'm sure the supplier would help if it was easier to communicate with them.

Good affordable framing nailer. Works as it should
Arrived fairly promptly, not bad for the outer Hebrides. Bought to build a garden office but so far used to build a small lean too. Works really well. I've ordered an inline oiler to help with maintenance. So far so good, no jams and drives 90mm nails really well. A great framing nailer for non pros.

Didn’t miss a beat
I bought this tool to build a garden office. I already had the compressor and the gun is a fraction of the cost of a cordless, so it was the obvious choice. It has plenty of power and had no misfires or jams after about 2000 nails. It fired 95mm ring nails in with ease. Used at an angle there were some that needed a whack home with a hammer, but maybe that’s to be expected. I’d definitely recommend this if you’ve got a compressor.

Great Value and high quality but heavy
I used this air nailer to build a man cave and a workshop. We used a well known brand battery/ gas powered nailer and the Silverline air Nail gun for the project. If you don't mind the air hose this is simply a brilliant bit of kit. When the battery/ gas gun was struggling to sink the longer nails into the wood, the Silverline air nailer never missed a beat, it consistently hit the longer nails home with very few jams at all. It is a very heavy gun but you get used to it. I would not hesitate to recommend this, BUT you need a decent compressor to keep the gun supplied with enough air if your doing a decent sized job.

Really pleased
Unable to use it as there was no air line connection or instruction booklet in the box. I had to order the airline connection to use it. However, apart from the lack of instructions and connector I’m really pleased with the nail gun. No mis fires, easy to load. Only used 40mm nails so far but I’m sure 90’s will be fine too. 4 stars due to lack of instructions and the air line connector.

Good product, good price and it works great.
Only used it once, just at the start of a project but first impressions are good. It's not really heavy but I suppose if you are using I!it for hours continuously it may feel heavy but I doubt it. It works like a dream, no jamming and 90mm nails straight in with ease. First framing nailer I have owned and as I am a DIY'r I can't give a comparison but for the price, I love it, so much easier than hammering hundreds of nails.
