Drains you dry
Love it! Works like a bomb. Just wish they would modernize it to be hands free.

Received defective product, poor customer service
I bought the Spectra Dew 350 in May and shipped it Singapore because both the UK and Singapore shared the same voltage. I had experience with the pump in USA and it worked very well so I was keen to get the same one when I moved to Singapore. However, my mistake was not checking the product immediately when it arrived. Two months later, I discovered that the product was defective - it would not start at all. I attempted to send it back to Amazon.co.uk but it doesn't accept faulty products to be replaced or exchanged after 30 days. I then contacted the UK distributor, Anawiz, who was just as unhelpful saying they couldn't do anything for me because shipping it back to Singapore was too costly for them. When I suggested to offer to pay for shipping both ways, they then suggested I buy the same product specifically from them and then they will refund me. When I tried purchasing the Spectra Dew from Anawiz, the website says it could not ship to Singapore. After so many e-mails back and fros, I was very frustrated and decided to fix the product myself. I replaced all the fuses but it still would not start so clearly there was something wrong with the product itself. I am expecting triplet newborns in 5 weeks and not wanting to increase my blood pressure further, I decided to go with another pump, the Ameda Purely Yours, and I am happy to say its working brilliantly. I guess the whole affair is partly my fault but I also think the customer service could be better for people who ship internationally. Otherwise, do not make international shipment a possibility. My pump, after all, is clearly still under warranty.

smooth and firm to use though tubes are short and easily tugged out
this electric pump is quite industrial, which isn't really a problem but it limits where i can put it, it has to be on a smooth hard surface to allow airflow.underneath it (i wonder why the vents aren't both on the side). it also has a strong vibration that goes through the table, so i put in on a hardback book on a seat to make sure it doesn't disturb anyone. the only problem is the tubes. they're only 90cm long (including the valve things) so you can't move very freely. also each tube just pushes onto the little nozzles of each part, so they come off just as easily if you lean on a tube or catch one with your cuff. obviously in an ideal world my book, tea, notepad and mobile are all neatly within arms length before powering up! most of all i'm impressed with the smoothness of the suction, which even on the firmer end of the dial, doesn't tug too suddenly. but also i chose this pump because it is mains powered so no battery faffing, and it's high strength (though that was daft of me as it's too much for me above half way, even using both pumps). also it fits the avent bottles i have from before. so i expect to be using this for some time and expect it will last! amaris (not ethan! lol)

Needs to be redesigned by a real mum.
These machines have not been designed by a mum. It pumps well enough as it is meant to but when you have a baby that demands attention and you are on your own trying to multitask, this pump is simply dreadful. The bottles lose their balance and topple down and spill if you have to place them on the table when, for example, you need to increase the power of the pump or if you're holding the baby on one arm and you all of a sudden need to use the hand that's holding the pump's bottle. So basically, if you are lucky enough to get time to pump uninterruptedly and leisurely and your baby understands that she needs to keep calm and quiet until you're done then it's not a bad product. If you, like me, have a baby that cries when she wants and demands that you attend to her as soon as she wants and you look after her on your own most of the time then you will, from time to time, think this machine is stupid and will want to throw it out of the window.

Great pump, did get loss of suction but fixed it.
I love this pump! I exclusively pump and have been using this for the last 3 months. I would suggest putting your backflow filters up near the flanges and not down by the machine as I do get some moisture travelling down the tubes and trying to clean the inside of the long tubes with a very small pipecleaner and some fishing line isn't fun! But the short ones are obviously much easier to get into. I did have a problem with the pump in the last 24 hours that I almost totally lost all suction, luckily I had a back up pump but it wasn't ideal as nowhere near as powerful as this one. I had a friend look inside the machine and the arm that moves the piston was bent ever so slightly so the disc inside the tube wasn't totally sealed causing a small amount of air to escape, he fitted a small washer and bent the arm straight again and now it sucks like it's new again! I would defihitdly recommend this pump to anyone, the only downside being that it has to be connected to the mains so you are obviously tied to the plug socket. But definitely worth the money.

This pump is excellent!!
This pump is excellent!!! i have tried various electric pumps in the past and this one is by far the best. i have been using this pump for 3 months now and i don't have anything negative to say about it at all. it is quiet and very effective, i can pump whilst my baby sleeps next to me. it takes roughly 15 minutes to completely empty my breasts. i was having a lot of difficulty with my milk production but within a few weeks of using this pump it had significantly increased. The suction is very powerful and the suction cups are very comfortable. it is super easy to clean and assemblei would recommend this pump to everyone.

Excellent
I was recommended this by my midwife, in hospital I struggled with the pain of breast feeding, until I was healed I expressed, this machine is excellent it’s small and compact. It slow setting was comfortable to start off with. It has a long wire so I could sit comfortably at home. Comes with two storage bottle with teats my daughter has taken really well to these teats!! Really pleased overall after the stress and worry of not being able to feed this product made me overcome the worry! Can be a little noisey with the pumping.
