Excellent quality.This is so much better than most simple travel adapters. They are sturdily made, both the UK plug fits tightly into this, and this fits Euro sockets firmly.Earthed, genuine BS approval and 13 A rating.I wanted something substantial and reliable for a friend in Ukraine to use with a hair-dryer, these are perfect.I notice some people mentioning that they are expensive - four for £11.50 is cheaper than the rubbish you can buy at airports - and anyway, what price do you put on safety of your friends or family who might be using one of these?

For a long time had problem getting standard adapter plugs to work when travelling around Europe. This one is a bit bulkier than most but it does work very well and no longer do I have to struggle when connecting appliances. It seems to be sturdy and well made. Definitely recommend.

Awesome adapter.Really well built (a German quality to it even if made in China). The shutters work perfectly, demanding just the right amount of pressure for insertion, and it use is flawless.This is a Shuko adapter and it has lateral earthed contacts. It works with 3rd pin earthed plugs as it has a whole to allow it.This will work all over Europe save for a few exceptions, for example it won't work on all Italian plugs as the older ones have different fittings with a third pin in the middle instead of off-centered up.Only con I see is the price. If you want one of the very best adapters, look no further.Hope this helps.

For delivering a high quality travel plug. this one is a durable one, and it holds the UK plug safely in place. There is many plugs that does not provide a good grip of the plug, and that can make fires in a few cases. This one feels safe, and it just works all the time without any consern. My electronic device from UK is safely plugged in here in Norway with this adapter. go for it:-) and as a bonus: German quality on its best!!it goes strong for long!

Probably the best version of this sort of adaptor I have ever seen. I've tried one or two that you get at the airport but they are flaky at best. This on, in effect, converts a continental socket to a UK socket. As a consequence it's a bit bulkier than the other sorts but it reeks "well-made" and "safe to use"

These adapters are not pretty and very bulky. I only gave them 3 stars since they do NOT support the occasional 2 pin UK plugs found in shavers and toothbrushes. On some outlets they can only be inserted one way which seems like a manufacturing mistake. But when they do fit, they work fine. They are also very cheap.

I bought the Brennenstuhl adapter because I had purchased a pair of Creative speakers from Amazon UK - and living in good old Spain I needed and adapter.Just what I needed! It works like a charm and also it's slim enough to use in a multiplug socket next to other plugs, unlike others.As a bonus, this adapter is more solidly built than most I have used.German engineering wins the day again...
