Works!
Was hesitant to purchase based on all the negative reviews. However, upon installing, yes, it does not seem possible to install them so that the sensor is facing perfectly forward, in fact one of them is facing backward. But I still installed them, waited and watched. They work just fine, whether facing outward or backward. So I'm giving these 4 stars. --- oh and by the way, both of them work.

Hard to orient in desired direction
These do work, however, hard to orient the sensor in the desired direction; would be better if the top could swivel from the base.

Perfect Front Door Sensor
Worked perfectly for the front door of our rental. Glad to have it rather than buying a new fixture

Bought two and one is defective
It easy to get the sensor in the correct position and 1 out of 2 won’t turn off.
