I bought this as I have a Large Opal which I somewhat obsess over. I know that it is safe to put Australian Opals into an ultrasonic but I was still a bit nervous due to... well... Opals being Opals.This cleaner is great, it really shined and polished the surface of my stone and the soft toothbrush it comes with helped me to gently pull off the dirt that was inside the setting. My Opal now looks better than brand new!

Works very well but usually you need more than one application.Also soak the jewellery for some 5 mins before washing in clear water.
