Slime 30058SL Bike Inner Tube with Slime Puncture Sealant

Good self sealing action, have got me home without knowing I’d had a puncture. The tell tale is a small green spot on the tyre where the sealant has cured and a slight loss in pressure. Good for about 2 years then the sealant becomes less effective ( the manufacturer recommends changing at this time)

These are good for people with no real interest in their bikes, and not sogreat otherwise. I fit them to my wife's commuter bike, but would never put them on mine. For very small punctures they do a good job of sealing the tyre. For small to medium punctures they still work well enough - there will be a slow loss of pressure and the puncture will need repairing, but not immediately at the side of the road. For larger punctures they offer no advantage. My wife has no interest in carrying a repair kit and pump, so they're a great investment for her - she has had a few punctures over the last year but nothing that couldn't wait for me to repair after she had returned home. Had she used normal tyres, she would have been stuck with flats. The main disadvantage to these is that they are heavy (because the inner tube contains a heavy gloop that seals punctures). The rims of the tyres is pretty much the worst place to put weight onto a bike in terms of efficiency - so they will make a difference to the performance of the bike. If you commute at 20 mph then these will not be for you, but if you pootle along at 10 then you'll probably not notice a huge difference. Fixing a puncture at the roadside is pretty quick, so for people confident in doing that (and who are probably cautious enough to carry a repair kit anyway) I wouldn't recommend these. For everyone else, these are a great choice and a lot cheaper than buying tyres with armoured liners.

A little flimsy but it works

Ruptured along inside seam after being on bike for ten minutes before evem being ridden. Inflated to 50psi. Install was same as any other inner tube cleanup of my garage and nieces bike will take a bit longer than normal inner tube failures.

4 stars as I didn't receive the "extra strong" variant of the tube as shown in the photos. Seems to prevent/seal small punctures better than 2 other brands I've tried but I still would have preferred the "extra strong" tubes advertised.

I have been using Slime tyres for my MTB for over 10 years now and I wouldn't use anything else. On my second set now as the slime does have a life limit, but the first tyres did me well for about 8 years and quite a few punctures. These tyres will do you well for a lot of the smaller punctures that you get (thorns, etc). An absolute must for any cyclist on any surface. I also carry a spare for the more serious disasters.

Llevo ya unos años usando esta Cámara AntiPinchazos de esta Marca Slime y puedo asegurar que es la mejor después de haber probado otras y con ésta 0 problemas. Además aquí en Amazon está por solo 6€ lo que la hace aún mejor ya que tiene las 3 B's (Buena, Bonita y Barata) ya que en tienda física las he llegado a pagar a 10 e incluso 12€, así que he comprado 2 cámaras para tener repuestos aprovechando como digo el precio al que están ahora mismo. Duran un montón, las que llevo ahora en la bici tendrán por lo menos 1 año y medio o casi 2 años aprox. y eso que le doy caña por Rutas MTB Enduro, XC, Trail que es donde más fácil puede pinchar y la verdad que te salgan de cualquier pinchazo. Ya me ha pasado de pinchar en mitad de una ruta y simplemente con la hincharla con la bomba de aire se sella con el líquido verde que lleva la cámara reparando el pinchazo no solo para poder terminar la ruta y llegar a casa sino incluso para seguir rodando semanas/meses aún con ella (siempre y cuando el pinchazo no sea muy grande claro). Lo dicho 100% recomendado!!! Ah por cierto decir que valen perfectamente hasta con neumático 2.30 (pese a indicar en la caja 2.125).
