Great choice for people who hit the gym
An unflavoured protein shake might sound boring, but in a world of overly sweet and artificial-tasting supplements, it's a breath of fresh air. I've been using this high-quality unflavoured whey protein isolate for a few months now, and I can confidently say it's become a staple in my routine. The beauty of it lies in its versatility. It truly is unflavoured, meaning there's no cloying vanilla, sickly chocolate, or weird fruit aftertaste to contend with. This allows me to seamlessly integrate it into various foods and drinks without clashing with their natural flavours. I've mixed it into my morning oatmeal for an undetectable protein boost, blended it into smoothies with fresh fruit and vegetables where it simply enhances the creaminess, and even stirred it into soups for an extra dose of muscle-repairing goodness. Beyond the culinary flexibility, the quality of the protein itself shines through. It mixes incredibly well, with no chalky residue or unpleasant lumps. It's easy on the stomach, which is a major plus for anyone who's experienced digestive issues with other protein powders. I've noticed a significant improvement in my recovery after workouts and feel sustained throughout the day when I incorporate it. For those who appreciate control over their diet and prefer to avoid unnecessary additives, an unflavoured protein shake is an absolute game-changer. It's a pure, effective, and incredibly adaptable way to meet your protein needs. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a no-nonsense, high-quality protein source. I highly recommend this product.

Real good protein 😋
I got the unflavourd as it is less calories and no sugar or sweetners plus you get more protein in each serving. I have my shaker bottle and i do not get any lumps... nice and smooth. I have put on just over a stone in weight by using this bulk protein for two months. The price is real good too.

Great Quality
Excellent quality. Unsweetened, thank goodness, and easy to add to fruit smoothies, yogurt or porridge. This is my go to protein powder because it's so versatile.

No Sweetner - Malty Taste
I am writing this purely from a taste perspective. I am not able to comment on quality and purity of the product. A year and a half ago I purchased Optimum double chocolate as my first protein powder. I struggled to drink it given the excess sweetness from atificial sweetners. Over time I managed to finish the large tin by having it once in a while. Only time I managed to enjoy drinking it was to mix it with avacado milk shake. That balances the excess sweetness and gives nice chocolate milkshake taste. Once it was gone, I wanted to try out unsweetened protein powder as artifical sweetners are worse than regular sweetners and has other health impacts. This bulk product mixes well when shaken but not when stirred. It reminds me of horlicks from childhood due to its malty taste. Anyone with sweet tooth or those who enjoy sweetened protein powder might find this bland. Because of its malty taste, I really look forward to drinking this everyday. Overall it meets my personal preference of malty taste with no articial sweetners.

Absolutely Fine.
I've bought this a few times now, and have had no problems with it. It mixes fine, tastes typically revolting (that's how you know it's doing you good), and is well-priced in comparison to many other bags of whey on the market. If the label is accurate - and trusting the label is the best most of us can do - the nutritional values are as we'd want them to be. I've experienced no digestive issues. Over the past few months of using it, I've definitely gained muscle because my lifts have gone up... but, y'know, I've also been working out consistently and eating an OK diet... so how much of the gains are attributable to the protein powder is anyone's guess! But it must have made some contribution.

No artifial sweeteners
I am very pleased to find a protein powder that does not contain nasty artificial sweeteners . The flavour reminds me of powdered milk. Fine on its own, but one can easily add a flavour of choice such as cocoa powder. I wizzed it up with a banana. I would buy this product again.

Let's reduce the quality of the product, it's packaging and double the price
Ok so I've used this product for years, the unflavoured option is great and tasted fine with a good amount of protein and relatively good value (when on offer). Now it seems something has changed. Firstly the recipe is different. Look on the back of the terrible new packaging and you'll see that now you get less protein per shake and more fat/calories, also it tastes much worse. Then we have the genius new packaging. Used to be plastic, now it's paper. I'm all for saving the planet but what genius thought putting protein powder in a paper bag? Both packages were pretty tattered when arriving and based on recent reviews i was lucky as most had big holes in on arrival. So, new not improved recipe(chemical tasting and less protein) and ridiculously impractical packaging (cheaper for them on both fronts I'm sure), this must mean they've reduced the price, right? Wrong! They've almost doubled the price! Absolutely genius, let's reduce the quality of the product, it's packaging and double the price, what could go wrong. Seriously disappointed and will be looking elsewhere for my protein powder.
