Good on cast iron.
Excellent service. Used it as seal on my cast iron downspouts as they don't fit very well. It is easy to apply and create a neat finish. Certainly resists the weather.

Great
This was exactly what I hoped it would be when I ordered it. Needed it for roof and a gutter repair. No leaking gutters now although I used it with other repair items too to ensure no leaks. This stuff isn’t the easiest to apply as it is very sticky but that’s its job. You know this is working when you apply it and I would only buy this one again.

ok ,but
This is very difficult to use in cold conditions . it does not flow easily from the tube and it is very difficult to spread with a spatula of any type because it does not adhere to the surface easily but forms a globule on the spreading tool.I tried this on my greenhouse apex to seal a small 6 mm gap but it would not stick and fell away .I will try again in the summer when the product may flow from the tube and perhaps adhere to the glass.I will update this review later in the year.

Excellent product when you need a black colour butyl sealant.
Excellent product when you need a black colour butyl sealant. It has more uses than advertised, some car manufacturers use butyl-based rubber seals around doors, windows, convertible roofs and boot (trunk) of the car, which are attached by butyl sticky stuff (which is obviously chemically matched to work well with the car's rubber seals). This can degrade over time (7-10 years?) and older cars may develop leaks so the cure is to look under the car's rubber seal strips for perforations in the original butyl sealant and patch any holes you find where the original sealant has started to disintegrate with similar new butyl sealant. This works well for that kind of repair.

Works well
Takes a while to dry but works really well. Was given a tip by a friend to use a small amount of turps to get a smooth finish and this works brilliantly and stops it sticking to your fingers!
