Really tasty snack. I love the chocolate coconut protein Flapjack. Really filling and great for sweet cravings

OH holy cows. This bar is SO packed with flavour it's INSANE. My husband and I both are trying to find better ways of adding more protein to our daily dietary intake that's easy to grab and use for late afternoon and/or post workout. HOWEVER the nutritional values (Beyond protein) is VERY HIGH - be careful!!!! We're only going with HALF a bar 'per serving' at this point. VERY Good size of bar, very good quality, excellent (Too excellent!!) of flavour! (PUT THEM AWAY when you get them... CUT Them in half then section them off and PUT THEM AWAY or your hips and gut will regret it....) LOL (They are THAT GOOD) I don't think I have heard my husband respond to ANYTHING like that before... I could hear him all the way across the house when he took his first bite OH MY GAWD!!!!!! (I burst out laughing...) (EVIL EVIL bars... but good.. quite good LOL) BUT do be aware of the FULL Nutritional values (fat, calories, sugars, etc.) And create a 'portion' size... fantastic and fantastic value (so many protein snacks/bars/balls available on the market that are SO expensive) THESE - we will be buying again ;) >=) (and again)...

Tastes nice but a little dry, Coconut chocolate is my favourite.

Great tasting bar, I love Trek bars but I never see this coconut flavour in local shops so I thought I'd give it a go. I definitely didn't regret it. Great texture, enough protein for a snack and not too dry or artificial tasting.

I usually buy these in the supermarket but when they're at least £2.50 for a pack of 3, it makes sense to buy them in bulk like this. I was a bit worried, given all the reviews about the short expiry date, and even more so when they arrived and the BBE date wasn't clear as it was "20L4". However, the manufacturer was really quick to reply to my query and clarified that they were BBE 2020. They tasted like the normally do from anywhere else. I've tried the original oat, berry, cocoa, and cocoa coconut and I personally would only recommend the latter two, which are really tasty. The others have that 'protein powder' kind of taste. I only eat them on days that I'm doing a lot of exercise and find that they really fill me up!

Absolutely delicious and packed full of energy, genuinely keeps me full for ages. It's 236 calories for a bar, but it has the most incredible flavour. Big chunks of coconut flakes with a really tasty flapjack, and the thin layer of chocolate on the top just makes the bar. Only qualms about this product is the price, they are very expensive but I don't mind paying because they are so good. Definitely the nicest (in my opinion) out of all the TREK flapjack bars. The protein content is an added bonus, they make a really great post or pre-workout snack. I use them as meal replacements occasionally, and despite the sugar content being quite high they keep me full for ages.

Delicious and nutricious. Excellent as a snack on a plane or train journey! So much healthier than most cereal bars which contain as little as 0 to 2 gms protein per bar!! A considerable saving when buying the pack as opposed single bars from the high street or the supermarket. Ipaid £1.39 for a bar from the high street compared to 86p per bar bought by the pack. Each bar has 9gms protein.Recommended daily protein intake is 50gms so one bar provides nearly 20% of the total recommended daily intake! Wholeheartedly recommend!

I purchased these as they were on sale (at £12.96), which later dropped to a massive £10, which shocked me. I wanted to try something new, i am new to the Trek brand and have never tried any of their other flavours or products, but i am a big fan of protein bars so thought i would give this cocoa coconut flavour a try, as i love the coconut/choc combo. I found the texture a bit strange at first, as there are small crunchy pieces (which i later found out are soy protein pieces), this sort of distracted me from the flavour. You cannot really taste the dark chocolate (the top layer), which was a bit siappointing, but i do like the subtle coconut flavour coming through the flapjack layer beneath. I like the balance of oats and coconut flavour, just a bit disappointing with the top dark chocolate layer, which i couldn't actual taste, and didn't taste of anything; disappoint for me as i am a massive chocolate lover. I have tried other protein bars which are more dense, with a thinner layer of chocolate than this, but they have a much stronger concentrated chocolatey flavour. So i do not recommend these if you are a chocolate lover. I also found the bar to be quiet 'dry' and not soft and chewy as a flapjack should be. The macros of the bar itself is okay for the price; - 18g, for 235 cals per bar; but there are much butter quality protein/flapjack bars out there, which have stronger chocolatey flavour and better macros. But overall a simple bar, with pretty subtle flavours; (loved the coconut coming through). The price is okay, but the product/brand itself is slightly overrated.
