Read the seller's size guide before ordering
I bought half a dozen of these recently and have just ordered another two. Having read the comments about sizing, I was unsure which size to order for my 44 inch chest as some reviewers felt the sizing was over generous and some that the shirts were a slim fit and far too long.Only after ordering did I read much further down the page and saw that I should have ordered a size L instead of my usual XL. I swiftly cancelled the initial order and re-ordered the correct size. The shirts arrived a few days later and after trying one on for size, I found it to be a perfect fit. I cannot fault the quality as there are no loose threads, the stitching is linear and tight and the fabric has a nice soft feel. I wouldn't call the fabric 'heavy weight' but it's certainly not thin and feels substantial and durable. The buttons look nice and are well attached to the fabric. I also like the 'tube' style as this means that there are no seams either side of the waist, which I find can come apart over time.I washed all of the shirts (30 degrees, naturally dried) before wearing and they haven't shrunk at all. My 'Large' size measures 23 inches from pit to pit and 28.5 inches from the nape of the neck to the bottom hem. I find the overall length to be spot on and the shirts sit nicely on my hips when worn untucked. The sleeve length is spot on too and not too short and tight like modern custom fit polos. In summary, excellent value for around a fiver each but do make sure you read the seller's size description before ordering.

What I DO like about this shirt is that it is made of ...
What I DO like about this shirt is that it is made of very good quality cotton pique. Just like the iconic RL polo but without the hideous polo logo and ridiculous price tag (and with an extra collar button). What I do NOT like is that it is very wide (I always wear M but this M fits like a large) and completely shapeless. This may be nice for fat guys who have something to hide, but for athletic or average guys like me it fits like a potato bag. I would be willing to pay at least twice as much and would buy them in all available colors if they had a modern slim fit. And the color maroon that I bought looks more like bordeaux to me. Therefore not recommended unless you are a chubby guy;-)

Reliable brand with consistent and generous sizing
Size-for-size Gildan all-cotton polos are larger than the ones you get from Fruit Of The Loom. And unlike the FOTL ones, they don't shrink, whereas FOTL polos in my experience drop almost a size, even in a 30C wash and low temp tumble drying.* For the very low price Gildan delivers light-to-medium material with no polyester. Yes, it's low-end stuff, and the filter in the tumble dryer is packed with cotton powder rather than long strands. However, I am still wearing Gildan polos from years ago, and I wear them all year round. Like my first ones, this batch was made in Honduras, and the maroon colour is just the same as on the polos I have washed for five years. Unless you want to pay a lot more, Gildan is a solid choice for 100% cotton 'valueweight' polos. You'll need to pay at least three times as much to take a step up. Solid 5 stars for the money.*To be fair, I think FOTL says to wash cold. But who does that with sweaty polos?

Not 100% Cotton
I was looking for 100% cotton polo shirts, as polyester shirts seemed to be annoying my skin. These are listed at 100% cotton and are from a known brand, so went for them. These shirts are not 100% cotton as stated in the product description - they are 90% cotton and 10% polyester.- Adult 100% preshrunk cotton, heavyweight pique polo.- Tubular construction.- 100% Cotton- Machine Washable- Tunic- Long Sleeves- 3800Will leave seller poor feedback too as its not an acceptable "error".

Well made work T-Shirt
We bought these T-shirts recently for a good Work look. They are well made and look good.Upon advice from other reviewers I opted for a Small as many said these were oversized. I think the Medium would actually have been the best fit, as after one wash the T-shirt is definitely too tight.(I normally wear Medium Regular Fit T shirts.)The small maybe ok if you are used to Medium Slim Fit T-shirts, but if you are more regular fit, then I would stick with Medium.

Nice quality. Did shrink a little after washing and tumble drying
I deliberately bought mens tops as I don't like the shape of most women's tops. I prefer a straight, loose fitting top to the contoured look. These arrived packed well and no unnecessary wrinkles. At first I thought the collar was going to be too big. One of the downsides of buying mens fitting. But after washing and tumble drying it was fine. The description says 100% preshrunk but I found that they did shrink a little more after they were washed and tumble dried. The quality is nice, quite a heavy material.Good value and recommended

Good value
The three I ordered were listed as 100% cotton and they were all labelled as such so a good start. I have previously tried polyester mix versions of polo shirts and I don't like 'em as they get quite 'sticky' on warm days. These all fit me fine...size L and I am a 42" chest. They're also advertised as heavyweight which is stretching things just a little however they're not thin - they're just not what I would call heavyweight but they are quite adequate: let's face it they don't cost the earth. I'll be getting some more soon.

Good quality but poor packaging
Good quality fabric and cut of material. Not heavy or too light. The material is like micro pique material so you can only see the pique close up. Delivery however leaves a lot to be expected - item was crumpled, needed an iron on arrival and wasn’t inside an inner bag or sleeve.
