... then by dint of leaving it on for far longer than the instructions said, I succeeded in binding some sheets. Thereafter the binder worked perfectly buzzing and blinking as described in the manual.

Good quality and works well, did come with a British plug which one of the lower pins was faulty so not using that just the 2 pin plug. Instructions nice and clear and easy to use.

I chose this one because it was low cost and compact, as I only have a small study. It hasn't disappointed, athough I have only used it once, with Peach Combi Pack binders. It is basically a heated metal plate, so I can't see how a larger more expensive model would perform differently. The small size means that I can store it in the box, on a shelf, next to my (also small) copier. One downside, as others said, was it came with a 2 pin plug, but I already had an adaptor, from when I bought a camera from Canada.

This item is very lightweight and does work well enough. It comes with a foreign 2 pin plug attached so you will need to purchase an adaptor plug such as they type used with an electric razor. Struggles with bigger documents and very small documents such as 1.5mm spines. Very quick to heat up (2minutes) Very quick to bind (1 minute) Can seal/ bind 2 or 3 documents together. Overall I would score 3/5

Happy with the purchase of this thermal binder used it many times for my study texts never had any issues with binding my papers.

Very pleased with the binder. Fast to heat up, beeps when ready and binds the documents quickly. The build is nice and sturdy too. The only thing that the description doesn't mention (when purchased Nov 2016) is that it has a two pin plug, so an adapter is required. It's not really an issue if you have one to hand, but if you were looking to bind some documents quickly and didn't have one then it could be frustrating. Would recommend this product to others.

Mit Standart Thermomappen geht die Bindung ruck zuck. Erhitzung des Geräts nach dem Einschalten dauert etwa 3-4 Minuten bis dann ein Pfeifton erfolgt- und die angegebene Bindedauer mit einer Minute ist (entgegen meiner anfänglichen Skepsis) wirklich ausreichend um die eingelegten Blätter in der Mappe ordentlich zu verkleben. (Sofern die Mappen über ausreichend Kleber verfügen natürlich) ----------------------------- Positiv: + Ist sehr kompakt und braucht wenig Platz + Gut verarbeitet + Stabil + Preiswert ----------------------------- Negativ: - Nichts ----------------------------- Fazit: Kann das Produkt wirklich weiterempfehlen

Apparaat doet wat hij moet doen. De toon dat hij er klaar voor is en ermee klaar is is zeer indringend. Dat is iets minder.

Es fácil de usar y está muy bien para el precio al que lo compré, que eran 33€. No conocía este tipo de encuadernación y me ha sorprendido para bien. Hay que tener en cuenta no exceder la cantidad de folios que admite cada funda, porque entonces algunas hojas pueden quedar sueltas, pero cumpliendo con las indicaciones, todo debe ir bien. Amazon me pregunta por el sabor, y aunque debo admitir que no lo he probado, he puntuado esa opción con una sola estrella porque imagino que sabrá a rayos.
