Lovely costume but as is usually the case the material is a bit uncomfy

I chose the size for older kids, the jacket was qwll made but far too small. Would suit 8 yr old apx not 10. The trousers were a tight fit but worked and again are well made. The waistcoat is perfect. Hat fits perfectly too.

I brought the medium for age 7-9 for my very tiny 8 year old son and it was way too small. As it was for world book day I ordered a large and X-Large to be delivered the following day. The large for age 10-12 was still no good for my tiny 8 year old. The trousers fitted but the top was still snug and short in the arms.We opted to keep the x-large which is for age 12-14 years. This was a little big for my son but kept it he will get more use out of that one.When buying make sure you get a few sizes bigger than your child actually is. My son is a very slim 8 year old and only the X-Large was ok. Apart from the sizing my son absolutely loved his outfit for world book day.

I bought this outfit for my 5yr old grandson as he loves soldiers and anything to do with the army. It was a great success, he couldn’t wait to put it on and enjoys being a soldier when wearing it. Good buy!

Sizing description is not accurate. My son is 9 years old, I ordered size "large" to fit 10-12 years old yet when we took the costume out of the packaging you can already see how tiny it is. My son could not fit into any parts of the costume, not even the hat. Had to return the item.
