The rough sawn red? cedar accent wall in our 1982 build home was dry and bleached out from the sun and prior cleaning. I looked at many products from stains, deck stains, various oils and so on. Some of those would darken it and mask the color. I remember caring for our boat teak years ago and started looking for a teak oil. Seems many can be gummy. I saw Nordicare teak oil on Amazon. Many good reviews and being made in Denmark was a plus for natural type finishing. It was easy to apply and control. I found foam brushes the best. While it’s thin it has a “soft” feel. Not much smell. A slight amber color. It soaked in evenly, slightly darker but no more than when new. The slight amber color change resembled when it was new. I only applied one coat, I let it dry per instructions then used a staining pad to remove any excess and buff the surface. It has a nice glow with a slight waxed highlight appearance on the smooth grain areas. Very happy with the results from this product. I feel the wood was fed and is in better condition now. Good value for the money. This oil is thin and spreads evenly and provides the protection we were looking for with our 20-year-old teak furniture. It does enhance the current beauty of the wood.

Great value I refinished lots of wood products and swear by teak oil. This is a good product that absorbs into wood quickly without leaving oily residue. I've used both inside and outside. Gives wood a deep richness that brings out wood grains. And the great thing about teak oil, is it allows the wood to naturally absorb moisture in the air. You will actually see a difference when humidity is high or low. Wood needs moisture so it doesn't dry out and crack This teak oils is the perfect solution. Great price. Remember, the trick to using teak oil is light coats so it fully absorbs into the wood. You don't want to saturate the wood heavily or you'll get oil spots. That happens with any oil made for wood

I use this on my teak shower seat/stool, and it looks beautiful and has kept it in good shape. It doesn't have a strong smell and spreads and absorbs nicely. The bottle will last a long time!

The item was packed in such a way that it leaked right through the box and the packing. I have used this product in the past so I know the scent is OK, but I do not appreciate a leaking box or that it was even thought that it was appropriate not to place some bubble wrap.

Love this teak oil. I have a bedroom set and coffee table and dining hutch all made in teak. I spent one afternoon working on the hutch and it brought the wood grain up so nicely.

Works well

Wir haben in unserem Wohnzimmer diverse Teakholz Stücke, die über die Jahre wirklich viel an Glanz verloren hatten. Wir hatten das Behandeln immer verschoben, da wir nicht geahnt hatten, dass es am Ende doch so einfach ist. Einfach mit einem Lappen auftragen und Überschuss später abwischen. Das Öl ist toll und jeden Cent wert.
