Nice midnight to light sock. Comfortable and roomy sizing. Seems well made but time will tell. Smooth exterior aids slipping into shoe. I like.

I purchased a 'hiking' sock for working on my feet all day long in the cold. At first they seemed perfect, but things quickly "unraveled" from there . 'Amazon Essentials' really is starting to feel like their version of 'Good Value' down to the product quality. First impression was nice, as they fit perfectly and appeared to be quite thick, warm and comfortable and they vastly improved the work over thinner socks. Sadly, after just a couple uses, some of the socks began tearing and like all socks, holes began to appear. This was shocking to me, as the quality appeared to be quite nice. Surely I put them to heavy use, but they've fallen apart far quicker than other socks I've owned and certainly much faster than I expected.

So, I bought these as a lightweight, hiking sock, but they become one of my favorite every day socks. I’ve worn them multiple times, and still no sign of them wearing through on the bottom. After about 20 times wearing them, they are starting to pill just a little bit, and the color is starting to fade. But, I’ve been impressed because usually I wear out socks before they have the opportunity to do that.

I bought these for my boyfriend and he loved them so much I bought him a second pack. He says they are soft and comfortable. They also fit well and so far have been durable.

The socks were comfortable and easy to put on and remove.
