Bob XL Freestanding Punch Bag Height Adjustable 60-82 inches

Century Bob XL is a great product. Have no where to hang a heavy punchbag and cannot accommodate a punch bag stand, so I opted for Century Bob. Bob arrives well packaged, easy enough to carry and arrived on time. Product is exactly as described. Easy to fill base and easy to place Bob on top of base. Filled my base with water from a hose pipe. Holds a lot of water so this was the fastest way. Placed lid on base securely, not a drop of water has come out yet. Weight of water easily holds Bob upright, although he does move across the floor a little as he tilts back and forth. Very comfortable to punch. Head flexes quite a bit but have got used to that. Great for kicking too, although take your trainers off or you may damage Bob. Fantastic cardio workouts with this piece of equipment. Have recently purchased hand wraps and some good boxing gloves, I would say this is essential as my knuckles were getting painful, blistered and bleeding. Much better now though. I suffer from lower back pain and knee joint pain so could not opt for treadmills etc. Have had no pain from either since using Bob and both long term injuries have started to ease off and get better. Highly recommended. Buy yourself a Century Bob right now and watch the calories and fat burn off and abs and arms tone up. Had Bob 3 weeks and have lost 17 pounds in weight next to a controlled diet. No signs of damage to Bob yet, still looks like brand new!!!!!

Firstly, I received this product within only a few days of ordering it. It was extremely easy to assemble, the bolts are already bolted in and all you have to do is lift Bob onto the stand and it's really simple to adjust the height. I contemplated filling the base with sand, but having watched a few tutorials I decided to fill it with water instead. I was concerned that the water would not offer enough weight, but felt I could always pour it out and replace it with sand worst case. Having used it several times now, I think I've made the right decision opting to fill it with water. It offers sufficient weight and although the base does move (I haven't filled it all the way), it's not enough for Bob to fall over. Bob itself is fantastic, a great piece of equipment if you prefer to train for precision punches and kicks. Of course it's a different option to say using a heavy bag, both obviously have their own merits, but striking Bob is simply more fun. The material offers a different type of surface to strike, it's more life-like and I believe it's just as good, if not better for strengthening your shins. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and I could not recommend this company enough. Great level of service.

I have had my Bob for a month now and I am liking it more and more. Great for focussing the strikes and really Good lockdown therapy! Good material - hard enough to feel like you are hitting something of substance but with enough 'give'. It does rock a little on heavy impact - I have mine on a large yoga mat to reduce movement. The product was bought from Century who i needed to liaise with at the time due to some BREXIT complications - Century were very helpful and sorted my issue out as promised and I thank them for that as not all vendors do. I would buy from them again.

I am overall very pleased with "Bob". I rate it 4 of 5 due to, in my opinion, a small design flaw. "Bob"'s neck is too soft. They should have put a spring or something in there. When you place a hard straight blow to Bobs face, his whole head tend to just bend over. Overall however, this is a really great item. I only filled the base with water, but I get a good workout. Bob will move around a bit when beaten, but it feels good. The main difference between this and a sand bag, is that you can practice blows in a more natural manner. For instance uppercuts and hooks are far more life like when practicing on Bob. Bob can also stand for front kicks and round house kicks. Bob's soft surface is very life like. I keep mine outdoors and just put a plastic bag over him. Whenever I feel like it, I just put on gloves (see the MMA Gel gloves from Osaka fast and cheap) and I get a good hard workout.

Pretty decent quality. I have filled it to the top with water which is almost 90L. It has been taking a pretty good beating for the last few weeks and no issues so far. It can make a smashing sound which can disturb the household so I have put a hoody on it which dulls the impact. Would advise sand over water as even filled with water it does move a fair bit. But maybe once you have confirmed exactly where you will want to position it.

Great customer service. Base and Bob delivered separately! Arrived a day apart. Extremely happy, helped me to no with my mental health through lockdown. Great to practice techniques, blow of steam, kick, boxing, K1, any martial art. Height adjustable for even the tallest of people. Highly recommend. Wish I invested years ago. I love Bob!

I love the Century Bob, It is perfect for the purpose I was looking for. If someone who is quite experienced has the need of train relatively hard this item is perfect, you can hit really strong and it won't move if you fill properly the base. I have been neo-professional kickboxer (K1) and I can train to the 50-60% of my capability with it. I would recommend to everyone. The one star is due an issue that was not my problem: It were delivered 2 Century Bob, and taking the double of my money, the company did not consider the fail by Amazon side or their side and it totally ignore to take back the other bob. They offered to me return my money if I send them the extra bob, but the delivery expenses are huge to be taken care by myself when it was NOT my fault.

I purchased Bob XL to practice Krav Maga when I'm not in class. I have found this to be a way to stay sharp between classes. Of course you can't do everything with Bob like in a class setting with a live partner, than again there are some punches I can do to Bob I can't do to a live partner. To fill Bob I used a plastic gallon milk jug, just cut the bottom off turned upside it down, sits right in the fill hole and used a bungee cord wrapped around the plastic part that Bob sits in and the handle of the milk jug, filled it with 5 50lb bags of play sand. The sand was very dry (like everything else this Summer in Texas) so it took me by myself maybe 10 minutes at the most to fill. The plastic milk jug never moved and made pouring in the base a snap. Also, you will see on the Amazon page a green funnel, that does not come with it. One of the other folks bought that at a local Auto store for $5.00 dollars and posted the picture of what he used to fill the base with sand. It looks misleading because the picture is right next to picture of Bob XL. In many of the reviews I can tell that folks though that came with it. I have Bob in my garage in my apartment, and yes you can and will rock the base with good punches so you have to have him in a place that won't bother others. Punching his head doesn't quiet feel exactly right, but if you punch at his chin than a bit more life like feel, than higher up, still very good target practice! I can use Bob like a punching bag if I raise him up and punch into his chest. I'm only 5'7 155 pounds, so I would say if you are a big guy with some weight to boot I don't know if you would be satisfied with just having Bob, maybe have a 100lb heavy bag also. For me though at my size Bob works fine for that. Wear gloves, I use the Century Adults' Leather Martial Arts Wrap Gloves I use in Krav Maga for hitting, they work well, just sized a little small, so you need to test fit them, along with any glove really unless you've used them before. I found them at a local Academy Sports here in Texas. So I have found Bob XL to be an excellent investment, the shipping was very fast, ordered on a Thursday afternoon, got him from Fed Ex the following Monday afternoon. I run a lot, so on days in between running I'll go out into my garage for an hour and give Bob a beating, I do a variety of 2 minute drills similar to drills we do in class to get my heart rate up and to push myself, and I always come way drenched, so you can get a excellent workout if you push yourself. I have also noticed my punches are getting much stronger and I gotten into even better shape using Bob. I practice a variety of punches, elbows, and all the different techniques we use in Krav Maga, side kicks, you do have to be careful with front kicks if you kick too low, you could hit the plastic Bob sits on (In Krav we really don't focus on high kicks like in other MMA's do) I've been trying to find something that I can wrap around that area (between Bob and the base) to cushion that area so I don't bust a toe if I miss kicking Bob in the groin, haven't found anything I'm satisfied with yet. So I am very satisfied with my purchase of Bob XL, and I would certainly get the XL over the smaller Bob, worth the extra money. So if you use Bob he will make an excellent training tool, if you don't.... Well it's not like the rails on the sides of a tread mill that you can hang cloths on. Then again I guess you could use Bob has a mean looking mannequin, and like someone else said, very useful for Halloween! If your serious about whatever kind of Mixed Marital Arts, Boxing, or training you are doing, I would highly recommend Bob XL.

A diferencia de un saco convencional con esto puedes practicar más artes o técnicas. Puedes aprender a usar Tanbōjutsu, practicar patadas, simular para hacer técnicas de, algún arte marcial como Hap-kido. No necesitas abrir agujeros y lo puedes llevar a cualquier sitio donde lo tengas ubicado. Yo le puse agua pero no llegaba a resistir golpes de una persona de 90 kilos que hace boxeo. Y esta hace que pierda firmeza. Probaré ahora que se pudo vaciar ponerle arena, unos 25 kilos para que no quede muy duro. Lo bueno es que lo puedes tener en casa. Eso si, una vez lo llenes será muy difícil mover. Recomiendo poner una esterilla. La calidad del muñeco es muy buena. No iguala lógicamente a una persona pero el que marque las costillas, el abdomen, la mandíbula... Tal como se ve en la imagen nos deja hacer los golpes con mayor precisión. Regulable en altura.
