LimbO Waterproof Protectors Cast and Dressing Cover - Adult Full Leg (M100: 52-65 cm Upper Thigh Circ. (5’5–6’0))

Used this product after falling and breaking my kneecap training for a charity run. It is essentially a large, waterproof sleeve that goes over the leg and allows you to shower both with a plastercast and a subsequent brace on, as I did. This was recommended to me by the technician who placed my leg in a plastercast as he felt there was no better alternative, after having worked for..40 years in this role for the NHS.It was a good recommendation, not only is it very comfortable and simple to slide on, it keeps the plastercast dry, which is essential. The rubber band that encircles the upper leg is tight enough to keep the leg dry and still remain comfortable, I went with a slightly larger legsize to enable me to pull the rubber band over the cast and this worked well.Once I had the plastercast removed, I found it very useful whilst I had my leg placed in a removable brace, it kept the bandages I had to wear over a large surgical scar both dry and clean, through preventing them getting wet in the shower.I was surprised at how safe I felt standing to shower too. As the plastic sleeve entirely envelops the leg and foot, I was hesitant to stand in a shower with a layer of plastic between my foot and the bath surface beneath it. I soon found I didn't have to worry, it was quite easy to place the injured leg on the bath surface without ever feeling I might slip, in fact it felt like there was more grip there.This product is simple to use, comfortable and enabled me to shower safely both with a plastercast on and the subsequent large plasters to cover the surgical scar once It was removed.An excellent product I'd recommend after having it recommended to me by someone with 40 years NHS experience in this area, I can't say more.

Can’t say I liked anything about this but it allowed me to shower with compression stocking on. Did a great job and kept my leg dry. Easy to pull on and a good seal.

The LimbO pulls easily over my braced leg, and keeps my leg perfectly dry in the shower. It seems robust, although time alone will tell. It is far superior to a cheaper waterproof cover I brought previously which was unduly tight and rather flimsy. This is very much more effective and robust.A few days on, it is doing very well. It’s easy to get on. I bought a medium size, although I had been concerned it might be difficult over a hinged leg brace; I’ve had no such problem. It has remained robust, and I’ve had no leaks whatsoever. I doubt there could be a better product to keep your leg dry in the shower.

I went in to hospital for keyhole surgery on my knee, but ended up having major surgery and was non-weight bearing with a huge splint to stop any motion just over a week before Christmas.Obviously I had nothing in place for this unexpected eventuality, but you have to shower before Christmas don't you! A quick search on Amazon led me to LimbO. I needed something that worked and didn't see the need to scrimp on quality.And it did work! Really nice quality, super fast delivery just before Xmas and it looks like it will last - I have a follow up operation, so a lasting product was important.Easy to put on. I did need help as i couldn't bend my knee. Make sure to pull back down a little once you get to top for best seal.Thanks for making Christmas better and less smelly! 🎄I paired this with a shower chair with grab rails for the safest and most comfortable shower.

Recently had an ACL reconstruction. In the pre-op the nurse told me about using bin bags and duct tape. A good idea, I thought. Then she said “you can get a special leg cover online but I wouldn’t waste your money”.I’m not messing about with bin bags and duct tape. If nothing else, I don’t want to look the checkout assistant in the eye when I attempt to buy those things.So this LimbO.... it’s really good. The neoprene stretchy collar works really well at maintaining a seal. The first time you use it, you’re convinced your leg is getting wet but sure enough, dry as a bone, 100% of the time. I used this for 3 weeks. It’s now folded up nicely for any time in the future when I’ll need it again.Marked 4 stars not 5 because I think for the want of a couple of long straps/handles on the side, I’d have been able to get this on right from the off, by myself. Instead, I had to ask my long suffering wife to come and help getting it on and off for the first few days.Marked 4 stars not 3 because this produced more than one opportunity to surprise my wife. This made me smile. My wife, not so much.

So happy with this product - wish I’d known about it sooner. Having had 3 ops so far after snowboarder smashed into me causing multi ligament injury 26 months ago - I’ve only just discovered it after the 3rd op. It really does work, even fully submerged in the bath. I was pretty nervous about it as I can’t afford to get my dressings wet until staples are out but I was so excited about being able to bath as we don’t have decent wet room or showers, only hand held attachments so pretty useless. I was very careful to measure first as it’s crucial it’s tight enough on the seal to keep it 100% watertight. I’ve used it twice now and not a drop of moisture got in - floated up, first time but next time I tried to get all the air out first and it was much better submerged. I ordered the small as I have very skinny lanky legs and was worried it wouldn’t be tight enough but on my upper thigh it worked perfectly. I just wish I’d known about them sooner for my other ops. Small pleasures like a bath mean a lot more when you’re suddenly stuck on crutches/not driving in rural Cornwall for 8 weeks, twice over, when sport is your life/work. Fantastic product - super grateful for all the reviews which led me to buy it. For ref - upper thigh 38cm - good fit on small.

Permet le passage sous la douche avec la jambe plâtrée. Simple mais efficace et réutilisable de nombreuses fois.Un confort incomparable particulièrement en été.
