I’ve had these air fresheners in the past. However, it was some time ago and I’d forgotten all about them until my wife bought me a new air freshener for my car. To say it had a scent sufficiently awful enough to make me want to walk, instead of drive, would be an understatement. That brought me back to Amazon looking for a new scent and I was delighted to be reminded of the California Scents Coronado Cherry. My wife absolutely loathes this air freshener. The scent makes her grimace in a way you’d associate with lots of pain. Naturally, this meant that I had to buy 4 of them. They’re a tin with a peel-off lid in the same style of a small container of dog food. Fortunately, they don’t smell like dog food. They are strong and some have commented on the sickly fragrance. I don’t find it sickly at all and you can adjust the level of fragrance to a degree by adjusting the vents on the top of the tin. To be honest, I’m not convinced this makes a huge amount of difference. Yes, you’ll find it works if you go from having the vents fully open to being open by only a millimetre or two, but anything in between is largely pointless. You either get a waft of cherry scent that makes you think someone has rammed 200 cherries up your nostrils or you get the faintest of cherry fragrance. It really is all or nothing. You can place the tin under a seat, in a door side pocket, in a footwell, in your centre console (if you really want to be blown away and knocked out by the scent) but there’s something to be aware of if your other half doesn’t like it - you’re going to need to hide it. See, my wife has got into the habit of hunting the placement of the air freshener down and then throwing it out! I’ve therefore had to find the most obscure of places in which to locate it so that her efforts are to no avail. Here’s the crux of it - these are very much a love it or hate it fragranced freshener. Personally, I love them. You might hate them. Longevity is good, you’ll probably get a good month of fragrance. I’m not convinced they last any longer than that. The day after you’ve placed one in your car you’ll get the biggest bang of scent when you open the door that you have ever had in your life. That alone makes them worth buying and they DO mask any nasty odours your vehicle has. The other cool thing about them is that you don’t have to clip anything on to your car air vents or have anything horrible hanging on a piece of thin string (I cannot abide those things). It’s nothing more than a small pinkish tin that can be hidden away and then thrown out in an instant. Buy them, especially if your wife or partner hates the scent of cherries.

Great value for money and smells lovely

After using this product for a couple of months now, I'm still using the first cannister that came in the box, lasting longer then any other air fresher I've ever had. It is worth mentioning though that you need to give up a cup holder to contain the cannister. Which isn't too bad if you're the only person in the car, but if you go for a cheeky trip to McDonald's with the boys one of them will be left without a cup holder. The smell is great and smells just like what it says on the tin. Although, it is worth saying (since I drive a small car) that the smell can be a little over powering a few times in small areas, especially during the first month of usage. If this is the case though, just crack open the window to remove some of the sent in the car.

The smell is bit too much in my new car with leather seats, but its perfect for my used car that I recently bought which was a smokers car, I could barely sit inside it due to fabric upholstery that has soked in years of smoke. This thing managed to cover that intense smoky smell in days. So its intense fruity smell can cover up any other intense bad odor. But if you have leather seats, this can be avoided.

La presentación no es la mejor, pero al sacarlo del empaque, desprende un leve olor, es increíble que aun estando sellado se note su aroma, de momento estoy encantado con la compra, dentro de una semana actualizaré mi comentario para informar como va el aroma, si se nota mucho o ya es leve.

Love the sent of the Cherry, the sent last a long time. It has 3 thick pieces and they have a lot of smell for days.

I dunno man, a week or weeks max. The vent mechanism is kinda clunky and dont make the same mistake of bulk ordering like me cuz cherry wasnt what I expected it to be.
