Nail Clippers, Saxhorn Nail Cutter and Trimmer for Fingernail and Toenail – Stainless Steel

If like me you've only ever bought cheap nail clippers, believing that they're surely all the same, then please educate yourself by buying a set of these clippers.I shouldn't be surprised, you pay for what you get with nearly everything and these are no exception. 5 times the cost of a cheap pair of clippers, but they cut more closely, more sharply and they feel and work so much better in the hand.The carry case is perhaps over-the-top, it's a nice black leather affair, but both clippers are well housed and it makes a handy travel / storage pouch.I've used them on some stubborn ultra-marathon-enduring toenails (where a nail has grown on another nail) and these made short work of them. A delight to use, should last an age and great value for money.

I got fed up with cheap plastic clippers breaking so I thought I would get some decent metal ones. When I received these I was very pleasantly surprised.Considering how reasonably priced they are they seem to be very good quality. They are nice and sharp and they are ergonomically well designed and comfortable to use even with thougher toenails that require some more pressure to be used.On the underside of the lever are nail files for smoothing off any sharp nails. Just make sure you peel off the protective plastic coating as it is so well stuck on it almost looks as though it isn't meant not be removed.The case that comes with these is really nice and is useful not only to protect the clippers, but also to keep them together and make them harder to lose!All in all, these are excellent for the money and I can't see how anyone could be disappointed with them.

These nail clippers were supposed to be heavy duty. I used them on ONE fingernail and it snapped into two!Me being a woman with soft nails, there is no reason for these to fall apart.Very disappointed.

These don't give a clean clip, they leave splintery edges but have no file to smooth them down.

In the past I have always spent one or two pounds on cheap nail clippers that rip the nails off my fingers and last 6 months if I am lucky. The lasts ones fell apart after about a month.I was not sent this product free for an honest review I paid the full £9.99 and straight away I was glad that I did, They are a sturdy well made clipper that I am sure will last a lot longer than the 18 month guarantee. The way they cleanly and effortlessly cut the nails made me realize just how bad the ones I have used before are.They do come in a nice case that would be handy for travelers or make a nice stocking filler gift for Christmas.When I purchased this all previous 14 reviews were from those who had been sent the product free or reduced so I was a little skeptical but I am glad I trusted them as I now know they were honest in their reviews.

Sturdy and good quality.The toenail clipper are a bit smaller than some I have used, and I would prefer them a bit larger (I have big feet), but they are generally easy to use. The fingernail clipper are a more reasonable size.They come is a useful (if not the most stylish) leather pouch, but given the small size of the toenail clipper the pouch is a bit larger than it need be.

Very sharp, but you have to have some muscle to use them. They are quite large and need a really strong push to cut.

The quality of these clippers is far superior to previous ones I have used. You only have to use them once to feel the difference. They come in a leather type container fastened with a press stud. Very happy with the purchase.
