Do these breath and wick similar to underarmour? Looking for something to run and exercise in.

To be honest, I've never owned underarmour undergarments BUT I can say that I love working out in these. They stretch and conform to your body well. I'm a runner and I have absolutely no complaints about running in these.

Is the size 5 in this product a small or x-small?

Typically, underpants are sizes 5,6 and 7 so I say it's a small not extra small.

How well do these wash, Do they shrink any?

Mine have not shrunk, although the fabric, as it ages and gets washed a lot, loses its new sheen. Probably to be expected.
