Saw this for few pennies and just bought it. I have various crank arms to swap between different road/TT bikes so this fits the end cap. I have a screwdriver which does the job enough, but thought id just get the proper tool. It's made out of heavy duty plastic. It does the job, although they could have moulded the centre hole to take a hex key so you could torque it more easily. And made it out of metal. But given the price and the fact it saves me scratching my crank bolt lugs its OK

Not much to say. Does the job, easy to use. A bit expensive for a small bit of plastic.

Helped me to assemble/disassemble a Shimano Ultegra and 105 crank. So they have already saved me money compared to getting the job done at a bike shop. Quality seems excellent. Time will tell.

Handy tool to have if you run Shimano . Works as required

Only giving 3 stars because the description is incorrect. This tool is plastic. However it worked for me. Since you should not tighten the crank cap up very tight at all (0.7-1.5nm) the tool works despite being plastic. Obviously the teeth will wear eventually, probably a lot quicker than a metal one. It may not work well undoing a very tight crank cap.

Oryginalne i niedrogie narzędzie Shimano do zaślepki z lewego ramienia korby. Działa idealnie z GRX 400. Pamiętaj by najpierw odkręcić śruby imbusowe na korbie, a zaślepkę na samym końcu :)

Noodzakelijk om je shimano crank te (de)monteren. Werkt goed en kost weinig. Erg tevreden!

ちっこいパーツだからいつの間にか無くしがち。クランク外してBB周りの点検とグリスアップするのに買おうと思ったら、ロードバイク取り扱ってる自転車屋さんに行っても在庫無いからネットで買うしか方法が無かった。無事作業できて満足。

Works perfectly to remove ultegra crank arm dust cap on non drive side. It is hand loosened and tightened only. The tool is plastic but so is the dust cap
