I wasn't sure, but I thought what the heck. The world is opening up again and I have been without work since the start of the pandemic. Let's use it, it can't hurt. I have just completed day 2 in a new job. Coincidence or magick? I'm leaning towards magic. A recruiter found me from an old cv which is 4 years old and thought I would be at the level they were looking for. I was and the feedback was that my second interview blew them away. I'm in a very happy place in life at the moment and very grateful. Try it. The worst that will happen is nothing.

I got the job! Of course it was my skills and knowledge that did it. But this little book gave me the added confidence to go for something I knew I had a good chance of getting.

I have not as yet worked with the book, just skimmed through, purchased for the future, but have a number of the Gallery of Magicks books, all of which are excellent. In a world where employment prospects are increasingly challenging, I know there will come at a time when this book is of value to me.

This book contains rituals to connect with spirits from New Avatar Power book by Geof Gray-Cobb and from angels from the shem hameforash. The approach is simple and can be completed by novice or experienced alike. A little book with big ideas based on occult logic and well worked out rituals.

Do not be fooled by the simplicity of the magic in this book. This is the real thing. As a practitioner of the Magical Arts for about a decade, I can tell you that this stuff is legit. I can reasonably deduce some of the sources for this magic, but how, what I would consider Adept level and "results-oriented" magic could be distilled and simplified so as to be easy and safe enough for a beginner to have success with, is FAR beyond my learning. In other words, this magic WORKS, although I'm not sure why or how it does. It WILL manifest (!) as so many glowing reviews for Mr. Brand's work can attest. As a disciple of Cornelius Agrippa, Eliphas Levi and the Grimoiric tradition of old, I am utterly skeptical when it comes to modern magic. I despise Crowley, and Wicca, while fun, is just too fluffy with way too many bizarre and loopy assumptions made. I don't do Chaos magic, and I never touch adversarial (Satanic/Luciferian) magic. And don't get me started on all the new age piffle and con-artists who promise and don't deliver that you're bound to find out there. This and any of Damon Brand's books are none of the above. In fact I love the fact that his magic transcends arbitrary labels like "black" or "white" (or any other color) magic. And thankfully there is no Pagan or New Age indoctrination involved. (nothing against Pagans or New-Agers) Just simple Magic. So how do I know it worked? Like I said, I am skeptical, but a fellow Magus/friend of mine, one much more learned in the field, swore by Damon Brand's system. So I tried it. I used the system outlined in this small book on the behalf of someone I know who had been out of work for almost a year, suffering some of the most obnoxious bad luck I had ever heard of... and it manifested within 3 months. Actually, after 2 months I got a little impatient and contacted one of the Angels in the book and politely asked if he could step it up and make it happen in 4 weeks. It took 3 weeks after that. These Angels listen to you. They are not to be coaxed through fasting and washing, abstaining from sex or drinking (or smoking the occasional reefer), going to church every sunday or whatever. They WANT to help you, no matter how much of a "sinner" you are, or even if you don't really believe in God. Sounds crazy doesn't it? Try it. Bottom line, you can make your life a heck of a lot less stressful using magic, even if you're not an initiate. Try it!!!
