Timex Kids T781414E Camouflage Time Teacher Fabric Strap Watch

I bought this for my son's 7th birthday and he absolutely loves it. He is mad about anything 'army' and this fits the bill perfectly. He loves the fact it has a light which is easy to use and the clear dial makes learning to tell the time easy. It is a bit more grown up than most first watches, which tend to be a bit baby-ish, but with an elasticated velcro strap and easy read dial it is the perfect watch for a young boy. I don't know how water-proof it is, so to be on the safe side he takes it off whenever he has a bath/shower, but it seems to cope with everyday splashes when washing his hands. has lasted well since the beginning of October so far.

My son really likes it, it's a proper 'boys' watch. It is robust, it has an easily adjustable wrist strap that will probably fit some of the smaller wrists and has a full dial light. There is also a cool helicopter second hand. The only downside, it has a fairly loud tick, so much so that m son leaves it on the landing so that it does not disturb his sleep. One night I actually thought a tap was dripping so I got up checked but all was well. Tick, tick, tick, then I thought we had a leaking pipe so I was up and down the stairs in a panic. Then I located the noise, it was this watch! All in all, it is a good first watch for boys.

We bought this for our son for his 7th birthday so I asked him what he thought. He actually said he'd give it 4.5 stars. He said he likes the soft, fabric strap. And of course he loves the helicopter that goes around as the minute hand. He finds it easy to read and it's probably giving him more confidence reading the time. There is nothing he likes more than asking - 'do you know what time it is?' so that he can proudly tell us!

Complete with a helicopter moving round the top of the second hand, camouflage colours and an indiglo light this watch is superb for young boys. We got it for my son's 7th birthday and he adores it. The numbers are easy to see both in the light and the dark (thanks to the built in light), it's waterproof and. funky looking. The strap is made out of a soft material rather than plastic which is great. It's comfortable and doesn't get sweaty or smelly, particularly in the heat. Brilliant product

Purchased for my military loving 10 year old. He absolutely loves it and wears it daily. The moving helicopter is a great idea and perfect for military loving kids! It seems to be keeping good time and the elasticated strap is comfortable on little wrists. Overall very happy with this purchase. Not the cheapest watch for children but I would say worth the extra.

This was for my grandson's 5th birthday. From the moment he saw it the watch did not come off his arm until he went into the bath then back on again. He was asking about the time his friends would be round to his party so took an instant interest in TIME and would continually refer to it through out the days following. So yes it was a winner. It has got a few scratches on the glass now but considering his age and the use he gives it, I'm more than happy with its durability.

I bought this watch for my son who would be turning 6 in a couple of months. He liked the watch very much, especially the indiglo that lights up the complete dial and the helicopter that replaces the seconds hand. I would recommend this watch for young boys around the age of 6 - 10.

I like this watch as it's clear to read and had a comfortable strap which is easy just to pull on over wrist
