I'm not sure what is so special about these bears. All I know is my 3.5 year old loves his so much and my 1 year old took a liking to it too so we had to get him his own. Even though I was a little put off by the £30 price tag. They both like the setting with the lady humming and the vibrations for 10 minutes. My eldest puts it on his bed, he doesn't cuddle it. He presses it to gall asleep and again if he wakes up in the night. My baby likes to play with the antenna and cuddle the bear. He likes it in his cot at nap time to fall asleep with.

My sons loves this bear and it helps settle him when going for a nap. The vibration with the music and nature sounds is of good quality and gentle.

Good quality product very useful as cuddly and sedatives. I recommend to all.

I got this for my autistic son, hoping the vibrations would soothe him, unfortunately, the music/melodies are just to loud for him, and with no way to control the volume, it made him very agitated. Other than that it is very cute and the vibrations would have been very soothing if not for the overwhelming sound of the melodies. In my case I had to return it

Bought this for my 5 month old to help her with the transition of moving in to her own room. It works a treat. Tunes are relaxing, tummy button is easily accessible to turn tunes on (especially if you only have one hand free) & it’s a lovely bear. The reason for 4 stars is that it doesn’t have a volume control so I’ve had to put the bear a little way from my daughter as it’s a bit loud. However it doesn’t stop her from sleeping & settles her as soon as I turn it on. & the other thing is that the battery cover is tricky to Velcro shut once the settings are changed at the back. I often leave it undone but this isn’t a problem for me. In my view, very minor points. I use it every nap & bed time & it does the job.

I'm writing this just in case it helps others in my situation to decide. I ordered quite a few sleep aid toys for my baby boy, as he seemed to hate being away from cuddling up to me and hearing my heartbeat. I tried hedgehogs and sheep etc but the came across this. I'm so glad I found it as he hasn't been without it since (now 2 years old) and it helped him drop the dummy, too. He carries it everywhere and no other toy is as loved. At night he likes to sleep on his tummy, so it's great that if this turns off, as soon as he wriggles a it while cuddling it is starts going again and settles him. Pros: - Cuddly, not heavy, and nice and soft - Easy to wash - we have two and if I wash one, all it takes is a quick extra spin cycle after the wash and it's pretty much good to go again. - There are options for vibration mode which we don't use (the sound stays on for shorter time if you do) and without vibration. We find the heartbeat setting lasts a whole half hr or so without vibration. - Just a squeeze on its belly re-activates it in the same mode - Perfect size for a toddler - The sound is comforting and rhythmic and even sends me to sleep if it's been a long night cuddling him! - It does turn off suddenly, but not too bluntly - so has never woken baby when turning off - Battery life is pretty good confsidering how long it's on for. We probably change them every 6 weeks but it's on most of the night and a lot of the day when we accidentally leave it going. Cons: - if dropped on a hard surface, it can change the setting back to default (a lullaby noise). Not an issue in a cot though. - when the battery fades, it resets to default quite a lot, and then starts to play the songs ina really eerie way! But it at least does still work for a little while. MAIN CON: The button on the back under velcro is too easy to press by the baby or by accident. This changes the setting. We found the way around this was to actually put an old bottle cap (quite a big flat one off a bottle of vitamins) over it before doing the velcro up. At first, baby used to pull this out, so I had to stitch it up. But now he knows not to (or just doesn't think he can open it anymore). It's a shame they didn't just put a little flip cap in it when they made it to sort this. But this has solved it for us!

These bears are amazing. They help all my kids settle and get off/back to sleep. We have 4 in the house. 1 for each child and a spare (in case of dead batteries or puking at 3am). There are a few designs. My son originally had a puppy one and an elephant one. They also make girl and boy bear ones. They wash great and have 5 noises (singing, 2 heart beats, water noise and jungle noise). They are a total must have for all babies and young children. It even helps my special needs son calm down and settle.

mein Sohn liebt diese Spieluhr. Egal ob Wasserrauschen, Herzschlag, Naturklänge oder die Schlaflieder (gesummt/instrumental), er findet es toll. Die Fühler, Ohren und Flügel sind gut zum Knabbern und Fühlen. Es gibt auch noch eine Art "Mutterleibsgeräusch", das finde ich aber sehr laut und störend. Die restlichen sind von der Lautstärke ok. Schön ist, dass es ohne Aufziehschnur auskommt, die erschreckt manchmal das Baby noch extra. Meistens wählen wir das 10-Minuten-Programm mit Vibration, da dieses dezente Vibrieren scheinbar Wunder auslöst, jedenfalls beruhigt er sich recht schnell und würde sogar mit dem Bärchen auf dem Gesicht schlafen. Das Bärchen ist waschbar, bei 40°C einfach in die Maschine werfen. Die Spieluhreinheit kann man herausnehmen und auch gut wieder einsetzen. Wenn mal ein Malheur mit ausgespuckter Milch passiert, nicht schlimm. Das Bärchen hat sogar schon Karottenbrei abbekommen, aber dank eines Nachmittags in der Sonne sieht man jetzt davon gar nichts mehr. Trotz regelmäßiger, mehrmals täglicher Nutzung sind die Batterien bisher noch nicht leer gewesen, alles super. Wir kommen jetzt einen guten Monat mit den Batterien aus. Manchmal läuft das Bärchen auch über eine Stunde am Tag, da mein Baby jetzt gemerkt hat, wie er es selbst anschalten kann. Der Herzschlag ist normalerweise das Einschlaf-Geräusch, für tagsüber sind die Lieder ganz angenehm. Ich habe z.B. Bruder Jakob erkannt. Wenn man den Klettverschluss hinten oben etwas auf lässt, dann kann man auch über den Wechsel-Button das Bärchen ausschalten ohne den Schalter weiter unten betätigen zu müssen. Einfach ein anderes Programm auswählen. Das wird dann kurz angespielt und das Bärchen ist aus. Geht schneller als Klettverschluss auf, Regler auf 0 stellen, Regler wieder auf Vibration stellen, Klettverschluss zu. Volle Kaufempfehlung, das Bärchen ist die 25€ wirklich wert.

Amazing little bear. Music is perfect volume. Humming is wonderfully soothing and puts baby and mom to sleep. White noise is perfect.,and vibration is calming. Thank you fisher price I recommend this over the glow worm
