The product I received is from 2017 and says it will expire in January 2020, which is basically 1 month after I bought it. That’s not acceptable for a product that has a long shelf life.

There is nothing comparable with La Merced, this Yerba could win the Yerba Mate Word Cup if there would ever been one. The only aspect I don't get it is the price because in Soho's Algerian Cafe they sell it £6.50.

The mate l ordered and received in December 2019 had a best before date of January 2020!
