Help produce better plants
Delivered on time, easy to use, help plants grow better, smell strong when first opened, but not overpowering. Used for first time this year, can see improvement from last year, when not used. If not putting straight into garden, may want to think about an outdoor storage bin with lid.

Fabulous - plants loved it
I'm not an expert, but the manure smelt reassuringly manure-like, but thankfully the smell wasn't overpowering, and there didn't seem any excess of woodchip etc which I have seen as a criticism of OTHER supposed manure products. Best of all my plants loved this. My garden which was in decent nick anyway exploded into life a few weeks after putting it down. A slow growing eucryphia has clearly added some height quite quickly and the leaves look glossier and greener than before, whilst everything else just looks very happy. I'll be ordering this each year hereon in.

AN EXCELLENT SOIL ENRICHER
This is a reliable soil improver as have used before, well composted,no smell, nor was water logged.Carrier email read ' delivered Friday 10th.'...It arrived 11th.after contacting seller as email was wrong. The seller sorted it quickly & it arrived the next day.Not sellers fault if Yodal can't get messages correct or read address correctly! I was in all Friday, too.A responsible seller to communicate so promptly..Best to put down /dig in composted manure in September/October,however, I've always put it around the plants in early spring.Should be just OK.I was warned by a good landscape gardener not to touch the main plant stems,& follow the instructions re application quantities. It will go further & still feed the plants well without killing them with an over dose.I 'top dress' so the worms take it down when soil is wet after rain or a really good watering, then cover with old slates, stones, membrane,,old wool carpet ,old under felt,or black plastic weighted down not to blow away, to reduce water evaporation when a dry spell comes.

Warning about condition
Whoever packaged this up must think condition of an otherwise good product doesn’t matter. I disagree. Wet manure (it was heavier than it should have been) is a nightmare. The plastic bag was split and the cardboard packaging ( taped Fragile - yes the packaging was by then fragile ) inadequate. Congrats to delivery for managing it at all. My ire is reserved for the sender. I am a lady gardener stuck at home and this item cannot be used for the purpose I intended. Shame.

Just what the garden wanted
My garden is so heavily planted I felt it needed some special attention so ordered this. Arrived in good time, texture fine and well packed. Saved me a journey to the nearest plant centre and the effort it would have taken just to load and unload when I got back home. All done for me, great!

You get what you pay for
I was sceptical about this at first as it was very pricey compared to other places. The good reviews lead me to give it a try and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Very good quality, easy to spread, didn’t smell bad - like ones I’ve used in the past. Very impressed and I would use it again in the future.

Good stuff but
paying a premium for a lack of odour is... maybe a little bit self-indulgent. I bit the bullet after this and got hold of the real deal from a local farm and horsey place. It's not as bad to work with as initially thought. For those that can't abide the smell or can't access a local free supply, this more than suffices. But if you can get it free locally, you really should toughen up and get on with it.
