great item, great value for money would recommend

This product is amazing, i could say it’s nothing out of the extraordinary because it’s just right to the point of what it’s supposed to do, but BEWARE, I committed the huge error of not reading the description of the product and missed the fact that it doesn’t fit my iPad and so I could return it (because I took it out of the packaging), I still manage to place my pencils/pens/etc in there. And it won’t bother me once I get my keyboard but just if this isn’t your case, please check the specs, it will save you time!

I wanted a small lap tray for use in the car and size - wise this works well. Unfortunately it is not well made and the cushion was coming away from the tray before I even got it out of the wrapping. Still, bearing in mind I couldn't find anything else of a comparable size under £30, let alone under a tenner, I decided a liberal application of glue might resolve that problem, which it has. I now possess a very useful, but unattractive lap tray. How long my repairs will last is questionable, but for the moment it serves the purpose. Jan 2022 - my reservations about the durability were well-founded. It was only used half a dozen times before the tray itself started to disintegrate and it has now found its way to the dustbin. A shame as the idea is good, but it was a poor bargain at £10 and I see they are now charging £15+ for it! Avoid.

It can be used one way for watching films and playing games, and the other way for writing with a bluetooth keyboard or supporting glasses while you use the iPad. I had bought the wood colour for a friend and she loved it. After seeing it in use, I bought this one for myself. I was a little disappointed because the top is made of plastic and it is cheaper quality than I expected but it does the job. It is a plastic tray with a cushion filled with polystyrene beads. If you are aware the quality issues and use it with care, it is an okay product for its price. I use mine everyday.

I have a few of these. In TV room, Bedside Table and one for travel! Game changer for Ipad use!

This is a moderately priced product which unfortunately is very cheaply made. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that Amazon, who I have been making regular purchases from for over 14 years without previous complaint, would supply me with this shoddy piece of kit. I made the purchase in the full knowledge that it was cheaper than usual as it was “as new” but had a very small ¼ inch x ¼ inch mark on it –which I have yet to find although it does have a fairly long scratch on it which is cosmetic only and not a particular worry. What is a worry however ,after just an hours use, is that the flimsy base material holding the beads and forming the “cushion” is already threatening to separate from the wooden top. There is also not nearly enough filling in the base cushion to make it secure and comfortable on your lap and in addition some of the base material beads appear fixed and in clumps and stuck in the corners. I have a well made larger board I purchased from Argos some years ago that I use daily for my 15 inch laptop which uses a foam pad below the base and its sturdy, secure and comfortable and it cost less than this . A tablet DeskPad is a great idea but this one has been done on the cheap by Kikkerland who, if there other products are built to the same standard, will not be in business for very much longer. Should you still be tempted to purchase this inferior piece of workmanship, although I cannot imagine why, then please also be fully aware that the slot for the tablet will not accommodate all tablets in landscape mode as its too short for my kindle 10. I was aware of this before purchasing but was happy to use my Kindle in portrait mode. But again because of the flimsy construction it seems it will topple over if you lean the wrong way or I suspect even if there’s a gentle breeze about.

I bought this for my mum to use with her Kindle Fire. The device fit snugly into the slot in landscape mode, but in portrait mode it wobbled and was just generally insecure, my mum felt like it would fall out, so she can't use it in portrait mode while using this iBed thing. And so, she doesn't use this anymore! I understand it may have been manufactured purely with the iPad in mind, and it does say that in the title, but the description does then say "tablet" which then means any tablet device, not just the iPad! I don't think I'll be buying her a new one, because I don't believe any of these bed things will be able to securely hold a tablet in portrait mode. Until one claims to do so, I won't be actively looking. Overall, I love the idea of this, but it's just not been executed very well.

Bien que je n'ai pas gardé cet article car la fente pour la tablette était trop petite pour contenir la mienne, l'iBed est conforme à la description, et la partie inférieure en mou très agréable à porter sur les genoux.

Realmente, resulta muy útil y super cómodo. El cojín inferior (relleno de bolitas de poliestireno) se adapta perfectamente a cualquier superficie y en cualquier posición, permitiendo que la "mesa", siempre quede en posición horizontal y, por tanto, la "tablet", encajada en la ranura adopte una configuración de visibilidad óptima a ojos del usuario, sin posturas forzadas, resultando realmente cómodo, por ejemplo en la cama. Had bought a much larger and more expensive desk to use but found it a bit unwielding when lounging on the sofa or in bed. Still faced with my I Pad case folding up /falling over I bought this one. I was a bit concerned about other writers comments about flimsiness but this is what I like most about it - very small and lightweight. I just hold it on my tummy or to the side of me and don't have a problem. So if you are happy to keep one hand on it when in use then this is the one to go for.
