Love this!!
okay so I am totally obsessed w this product!!! I totally forgot to take pics after before I toned it but you guys just have to take my word for it. I bleached my ends and than put 'medium ash blond on it' to get the orange out and OMG I hated it so much it was so dark and grey and it looked dirty it was the worst colour on me, wow - so I used this to strip it back which it did most amazing job (it was even lighter than before!!! but pretty yellow again- more than it was before I put the medium ash blond permanent colour because I used some toning purple conditioners and stuff after I bleached it the first time...) btw after I toned it w the well T18toner and now its amazing exactly what I wanted :] BUT I get why some reviews are not great and here is my take on it: - yeah it gets really thick and its a nightmare to get it out of that bottle!!! if I need it again and will buy it again I will take it out on regular bowl and mix it in there w the brush!!!! I did manage to take everything out but I had to shake it out hardcore, unscrew the tip off and just shake it out - I'm pretty sure some ppl thought it was finished before it was actually finished I was pretty amazed too that something still come out over and over again! - I used the entire thing and I needed only on like 4-5 inches of my ends of my hair, so yeah if I was doing the entire head I would definitely buy at least two esp if I had really thick hair - instructions - I mean my English suxs but yeah it could have been more straight forward it's not the best but you guys my hair was definitely NOT damaged at all - and I bleached it prior two times and coloured it that medium ash blond crap - (even tho before this I started with super shinny silky natural dark brown hair without one split end.... I haven't done anything to my hair in like 6 years) it smells great I could not believe things I read about the other products it was super scary - like it didn't come out after 8 washes!! and it is well priced. I definitely would recommend it to all my friends :] xo

Used successfully to remove Henna
My hair is naturally grey, mostly brilliant white at the front, with more peppery brown underneath, at the back. The first photo shows my hair after four years of fortnightly henna: a few weeks of Lush henna, with a bit of indigo that shows up in the ends, followed by years of supposedly pure, organic henna. That was fine until batches of it contained PPD, which I am allergic to, the reason I started using henna in the first place. After that, I started getting sensitivity to henna that actually was pure, so I had to stop using it. I read all the press which says you can't strip henna, you have to cut it off, and threatened melting hair. I thought, if I’ve got to cut it off anyway, I might as well see if I can strip it - if it’s a disaster, I’ll cut it off. I’ve used Colour B4 on dark hair in the past, which left my hair brilliant orange, so I thought I would try Scott Cornwall products this time. I did two strand tests, leaving the product on for 2 hours, the maximum active time mentioned on the boxes. The Declour Remover (red box) did nothing at all, but the Decolour Stripper (blue box) took the strand to about 2/3 of the way between 10/03 and 10/04 on the Koleston Perfect colour chart. So I tried a skin patch test and got no reaction and decided to go ahead with the Decolour Stripper. The way I did it wasn’t ideal, because I didn’t use enough at first and left it on too long. So my recommendation, if you are going to try it, is to use two boxes unless your hair is very short, and to do a strand test at the same time, so that you can see exactly what the colour has become from the strand and don’t need to mess about uncovering and checking your head. Anyway, I can’t show you exactly what my hair looked like afterwards, because I used toner on it straight away, so my after picture has a bit more yellow in it (Wella Gold toner) than it had immediately after stripping. But it gives you an idea. I wouldn’t dare use peroxide on my hair, in case it really does melt! but I’m now very happy playing about with different semi permanent toners, which give me highlights and a slightly different colour every wash. I wish I had tried it years ago!

Did it's job
Waant expecting miracles because I have years of colour build up but it did better than I imagined! Found it very difficult to mix in the bottle so resorted to using a bowl and brush. And because it took so long to figure out my hair had mainly dried before applying. My mids didn't strip very well and I have to go back in with some bleach to lighten them further. As well as this my hair feels horrible after using it, good product but personally don't think I'll use it again

Quite an awesome result
I needed two applications, but this did a really good job of removing a year's worth of red dye from my hair. I'll unfortunately need to use bleach on top of this to go back to blonde, which isn't ideal (this could be due to the buildup of dye over the year), but I'm genuinely impressed - I'd say that 90% of the colour came out!

Hair colour change in one day
This product was amazing. One day I thought again to myself why not changing hair colours? Got bored of purple and blue split dye, couldn't really keep up with it and it was annoying after while. First had the wrong colour remover and read the instructions. Needed to change to this blue box here. Since it is for fashion colours like pink, blue, purple etc., I was confident it would turn out somewhat good. Darn, it totally melted all the blue and purple out of my hair. My hair was not damaged, in fact it feels soft and healthy. The icy blonde you see is from pre bleaching in order to make the blue pop. These ends are on the dry side but easily fixable with deep treatment like I did. After I applied the remover I had numerous shades of blonde, but I was not mad at it. It applied easily and no horrible smell occured. Dyed it red anyway, so the shades of blondes were more than enough for my purpose. I love that products like this exist, I really needed a change in hair colour. If you are camelion like me: get this, blonde up and apply your new colour right after. But please do not fry your hair off by changing hair colours like your underwear. I wanted a change after 1 year, which was a long time in between. I badly wanted to just apply one hair colour and be done with it. Instead of applying two colours. I need to re-7apply the red again, first dyeing is of course always there to put back pigments into the hair. Second dye will restore somewhat the bonds and the colour will be deeper. And always (please!) use a good conditioner and/or hair mask. Wait with the second dye one or two weeks. Let your hair relax a little and practice patience. Love your hair, it will love you back. And don't forget to love yourself for who you are. You are great! I am fully happy with my transition back to red and never thought I can make that happen in just one day. I recommend the colour remover (stripper).

Does the job
Changing my review because the packaging was strange and half the things weren't in the box but were in the packaging itself? Strange. Anyway great product but loong instructions but if you follow them it will give you the results. Doesn't leave a smell but there is a strong peroxide hit initially using it. Hair was surprisingly left in a good condition (as good as a condition as you can hope for after stripping it)

It works!
I had a dark burgundy red colour on my hair which was a mistake, needed to get rid of it and go back to blonde. I bought this with no expectations as I knew the colour I had on was very hard to remove. I needn’t have worried. My hair is quite thick so I had to use 2 boxes as the mixture is quite thick and doesn’t go far. But after only half an hour I could already see the red colour being removed, and after an hour I rinsed it off and was surprised to see it had gone a pale yellow with no red remaining. I was able to colour my hair straight after and applied a purple conditioner. Very satisfied with the result. Would highly recommend this product.

and leave this crap on the shelf
I used this product this morning, and it Does Not work at all as described. My hair is about a shade lighter and appears highlighted, not color removed. It doesn't perform as advertised. Very messy to mix, tiny bottle doesn't cover your hair unless it's about 2' long, and extremely difficult to spread evenly through hair. Use L'Oreal or OOPS, and leave this crap on the shelf.
