Item arrived earlier than expected , well packaged, item was as described, once fitted it worked as expected with no issues.

This is the first ram i ever brought and it is brilliant, i was able to upgrade my computer for 20 pounds, whilst if i brought it from the manufacturer it would have cost and extra 50. It is extremely fast and i haad absolutely no problem installing it. If you want to know which exact ram to get it is very easy go to uk.crucial.com and just put in you device model or the website will scan your laptops themselves, a link will take you to amazon and show which type is best for your PC. Very Easy. Great value. Highly recommend.

Very nice product. Works as its supposed to. Make sure you get a compatible stick for your laptop/PC. Its quite fast also, noticed significant improvment over my original 4Gb laptop. Also make sure you double check your original sticks speed, I didn't (im a real noob when it comes to this stuff, not much experience) and as such the RAM speed/frequency (Mhz for the module i had was 1300mhz or so, while this is 2400mhz) was down clocked to the slower stick speed which sucks. So, make sure you research properly (use CPU-Z or something) and dont make the mistake I did....eitherway it still works so its fine for me.

NOTE: buy ram that matches the amount of ram you already have (I got 4gb). I initially ordered 8gb, but after reading about it online it says that if you have mismatching ram, like 4gb and 8gb, the 8gb ram will act like a 4gb ram, so you might as well get the 4gb. This saved me from paying £16 extra. I have a Dell Latitude E2720, which has i5 core, SSD etc. but only 4gb of ram. This would be fine for regular web browsing but I often have multiple windows that take up a lot of memory, and I was getting frustrated with how slow it could be. I installed it and can already tell my computer is much much faster. The ram comes just by itself in a little packet, no instructions. Look up your computer's owners manual for instructions how to install more memory/ram, or look on Youtube. It wasn't difficult to install, and I just had to turn on my computer for it to take effect. 100% worth £16. Applications that took a while to load or respond are now blazing fast. Don't bother with expensive ram if it's just for a regular non-gaming laptop, this will do fine!

Good upgrade for a budget HP 14-bw000 notebook. Added to existing Kington 4GB. So double the memory. (Actually more than doubled as some of the memory is used for the graphics) The cpu does not support dual channel memory so no concerns there. Taking the back off notebook can be fiddly, the first time, but easy enough. Windows 10 much more responsive now. Browser tabs were using all the memory so switching to anything else would mean memory paging to disk, slowing everything down. Now switching is instant. I may eventually replace the HDD with SSD but upgrading the memory first, meaning less paging to disk should mean an SSD would last longer too.

My Asustor 5304T could take another RAM card in order to increase performance, and recommended this one for that purpose. Ordering it was simple and once it arrived, the hardest part was having enough space in the Asustor to get my fingers to manipulate the card in place. That said, once in, the card was detected immediately upon boot-up and I've had it running for a couple of years now - no issue. I've always had good experience with Crucial Ram sticks.

Just ensure you have the correct frequency to match your existing RAM, also do a quick check to see how many slots on your board are occupied. Just use task manager to check the details. I had a single 16GB stick and so I added another 8GB, same frequency and class but different sizes still work's perfectly. You will have some degree of performance hit since when running dual-channel memory the smaller stick hits its cap first but it is not noticeable in day-to-day work, perhaps in synthetic benchmarks, though your mileage may vary. If you have a very low RAM, to begin with, like 8GB you wanna check your board limits. If you have less than 8GB you probably want to prioritize changing the computer entirely if possible. Installation is dead easy, it's probably harder to open up your laptop Worth considering doing multiple upgrades at once if you are going through the trouble yourself
