Excellent quality together with very good adhesion

Good adhesion, Easy to use/ handle. I actually used it to renew the seal on my glass hob. Turned the hob over, cleaned of the old seal which had perished and popped on the Strip. It cut easily with a craft knife, was easy to install and seals perfectly. I have also put it to good use on two door returns to reduce the noise as they close, great job, works well. Time will tell how long it will perform this task for as there's an element of wear and tear involved, but I only used a couple of inches on each door so there's lots left to redo it many times if required.

My wife thought it a great idea to hang a range of metal flower pots on a cast iron gate next to our house. She believes it looks lovely. I just get annoyed by the constant noise of the metal pots banging against the gate whenever it opens or the winds blows (even at night). Removing the pots is a strict no-go and apparently would pose a risk to my marriage, or worse. So I had to look for an other solution and came across this self-adhesive rubber tape that I thought I could stick on the gate and pots. It came as a fairly large roll. I could have done with a roll length of probably 10% the current length. But this was an emergency! And hence I wasn't sensitive about the cost and quantity. While it probably good to have some spare material. The rubber tape is easy to put in place. However, .. I found that it's more for indoor use only. Rain doesn't help. And sun heat caused the glue to dry out. So most of the tape came loose again within a couple of days. Nice try but it didn't solve my problem, nor did it rescue my marriage. Yet the tape, if used for other indoor purposes should do well and would be recommended.
