Perfect for Eufy Home Base S380
I’m using it to expand the local storage of my Eufy Home Base S380 for storage of 24/7 security camera footage. Fits and works perfectly. No complaints. Highly recommend.

Great speeds and reliable.
I have purchased many of these and they are as advertised. Great drive for a good price. Boot time is fast too! Great quality.

Failed far too early
This SSD from a reputable brand greatly disappointed me. I purchased and installed it to replace a failed Samsung SSD system drive of the same 500 GB capacity. No more than a month after I installed it and restored my apps, the drive failed. Immediately after booting up one morning, while the Windows 11 splash screen was still being displayed, I experienced a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death, for those who don't know). During troubleshooting, I saw that the disk manager didn't even know it existed. Fortunately, I have two M.2 drives on my motherboard and I shifted my OS to one of them to bet back up and running. I then purchased another SSD from a different manufacturer and replaced the dead SanDisk drive with it, cloning the M.2 drive's OS to the new SSD as a backup. I also run a nightly system backup to the new drive in a "belt and suspenders" approach to being paranoid about all this. The only reason I didn't return the SanDisk SSD under warranty is that I was unsure of the root cause (power? virus?). The new SSD is so far functioning perfectly, but if it also fails early, then I'll suspect causes other than the quality of the drive itself. So I do not recommend buying this SanDisk 3D SSD, at least in the 500 GB configuration.
