Q: What temperature makes it start? intro says 50°c, description 55°c and many answers say 85°c. which is it?

Don’t know exact temperature due to not having a thermometer but in my opinion I’d say 50 degrees it doesn’t take long for it to start its a very solid and robust fan I would highly recommend

Q: Will it work in front of the fire

it must be placed on the flat metal plate to contact fully with the stove, the heat from the stove will drive it starting to work then.

Approximately 26.6 cm from the base to the top of the carrying handle. The fan diameter is 15.9cm and the depth is 12.8cm from the front edge of the fan to the rear of the base.
