This is a simple, brilliantly effective tool for a specific job. I used it to secure the base of a new garden parasol, and it was incredibly sturdy. The multi-fit adaptor meant it worked perfectly with the parasol's 40mm pole. Driving it into the ground was straightforward, and it provided a rock-solid anchor that prevented any wobbling or tipping on windy days. It's a no-frills product that does its job perfectly.

Good quality and went into the ground well. The plastic sleeve inside the metal part is slightly larger than it needs to be if using the smaller pole measurements. This means the washing line wobbles around when loaded with washing but works ok.

This has worked really well. To bang into ground I suggest putting a piece of wood across the top so you don't damage the edges. Our airer rusted at the bottom so we purchased this and slotted old airer into it. Much cheaper than purchasing the whole new item. Really competitive price too

Metal seems OK, but insert is poor. Doesn't use full length of spike and rocks inside meaning it was a very poor fit. Pulled it back out and used the old one.

It’s very robust & was easy to knock into the ground. Just the job!

Would not say it was heavy duty but it's okay for the money
