240 Vocabulary Words Kids Need to Know: Grade 1

Great for 1st grader.

Bought this one for my second child, because my first child who was in 2nd grade use to like it so much that he would take it to school and work on it in recess. He is about to finish the 3rd grade level book. Teacher says he is the go to guy in class for vocabulary. Excellent book. Thank you.

I purchased this for my son who has autism who needs to expand his vocabulary. I will come back in a month to write another review. I went by some of the reviews and decided to order yesterday 3/1 I look forward to working with my son and share his progress.

Either my son is advanced or these words are on the easy side. He's only two months into first grade and he knew more than half the words in the book. While he doesn't know how to spell them perfectly, he knew what they meant just by looking at them. It's a fun book with practical everyday words and puzzles, but again, they are words any child would get in school, so it doesn't do much as a supplement. I was expecting more. It's a thin paperback and to me, it's not worth the price.

I love these books! I am tutoring my niece and it's perfect. I also teach and I use these at school to help with reading and writing. I have all of the them. They are well put together and they definitely help build vocabulary and spelling ability in a fun and practical way.

Ensure that parent should guide the child before doing

G1で少なくとも本文の中に高校レベルの文構造がけっこう出てきます。日本なら高校生向けといっても過言ではないです。語彙、文法ともに本来必要なはずの本質的な土台作りに役立つと思います。本の背景にむこうの生の文化が透けてくるのも良い点です。

幼い頃から英語をしていれば簡単なようですが、小学校の英語活動だけの子には、簡単ではないです。 設問も英文ですので、まず設問が読めませんし、単語も知りません。 でも、bankを「銀行」とだけ教える学校英語とちがい、word bankの囲みの中に単語が何個か書かれているので、bankが貯蔵の意味もあるのが分かったり、得られるものは多いです。 いいワークブックです。簡単な英英辞典としても機能します。シソーラス的な部分もあります。学校英語と違うアプローチで英語に接することができます。フォニックスを終え、ある程度の英単語を知ってから取り組むのにいいです。
