Really Cool Tool
Purchase this item as a gift for my wife. She absolutely loves it! She's already repaired to necklaces with it and it's a really cool tool for that use. I'd recommend it for anybody who's looking to either make necklaces/bracelets or trying to repair ones they already have.

Learning Curve - Cut My Cord Twice! L
Super sharp, cut the silk cord while using the item as directed. I did eventually get better at using the tool.

What a challenge
Bought this to help restring my grandmothers pearl necklace that I inherited with string broken. It only took me 10+ tries to complete as I would mess up with a bead being too far apart. Had to buy more string, Ugh. The tool fell apart with the top part coming out of the holder but I managed to make it work by holding it together while tying the knot. I’m also left handed and could only find a YouTube video to do right handed so that’s what I did. Only 3 stars because it fell apart and it made it difficult to use. But I got it done.

BEWARE! Thread supplied is 2 meters, not 4 meters, as shown on website.
On the product's page, it shows silk thread packets that clearly show "4 meters." I received thread packets that were all (white) and were only 2 meters. Quite a big difference! I did see another review or more, that stated the thread packets were only 2 meters, but I guess I hoped that mine would be delivered as advertised. No so lucky! The tool seems fine (I haven't used it yet), however there were also no instructions provided - not even rudimentary ones. I'm keeping this as I need to make this bracelet very soon and don't have time to go through the return process. But I'm NOT happy with this purchase. I don't recommend purchasing this product.
